What is the reason for Karthik Raja's failure and YSR's success ?

Karthik Raja entered in to film world some expectation when ARR has entered with Roja. Karthik composed two Rajini songs Pandianin Rajyathil and Oru Mina Mina (Ulzhaipali Rajini moive).

He gave hits like Ullasam, but most of the songs were copies songs (i forgot the site name that was mentioned in Antha Vikatan magazine). He got chance for one Kamal Hassan film also.

But YSR from the begining enjoying success (not like ARR). But able to maintain his status in the Music Industy. Respectable Audio sales.

  How many good directors has YSR worked with? KR gets good movies and big banner projects. YSR is not fortunate like this. He has to get by with second rate projects but is still a big hit.

  a simple example,whenever andy flower scores a century zimbabwe loses a match,whenever dravid has a decent score india is able to win a match,the simple thing is u need team work and luck and some grit to face pressure which is apparently missing in karthik raja?moreover he does not go by the trend in markethe asks partibhasker to givelyrics,which no MD does ,iam not saying he is bad,He has togive tunes fimilar to our masses bit not a gramtically correct tune

  This is completely wrong. In his entire carrier, India has won only 2 to 3 matches in which Dravid is the tOp Scorer. It has won less that 10 matches in which Dravid is in 85 to 100+.
  
  When ever Dravid scores 50+, I am confident that India will loose. I pray to God always that "Give Dravid the Liberty to score upto 49. But please don't the increase the distance between the Cup and the Lip by just awarding the 1 more run to him"
  
  If you don't believe me...kindly check in the previous records....IN MOST MATCHES WHERE INDIA LOOSES...DRAVID IS THE TOP SCORER AND IN MOST MATCHES WHERE INDIA WINS...EITHER HE SCORES POORLY OR SOME BODY ELSE SCORES ATLEAST ONE RUN ABOVE HIS SCORE...(hope this continues...by God's grace)

  YSR HAS BEEN MORE SUCCESSFUL THAN KR BECAUSE HE HAS REPEATEDLY USED THE TRUMP CARD, THAT BEING SP BALA.
  YSR IS DOING WHAT ILAYARAJA HAD DONE FOR MANY MANY YEARS.

  maybe,kr is a bit far ahead in time one thing if you guys notice all the songs he has composed has very less orchestration and are still sounding fresh and good to hear,eg-nadhiyoram-alexander,sandhanam-manickam,indha sirippinai-naamiruvar,and so many other songs,i feel kr's best song to date is dum'3's-un perai sonnaalae,wonderful melody and he is still persisting with such songs in his albums other pathbreaking song is lailalaila from kadhala'2,even today it sounds better than muqaala,and when heard thru a better music system the base and strings are amazing in this song-IMHO,SHYSUN.

  I do wish that at times, you invested some seriousness in the topic at hand and avoid sweeping statements. And that you would desist from going ALL CAPS trying to stamp your authority as an expert in any subject you purvey. Cricket being a fav. subject and Dravid being an unfortunately pilloried stalwart, here's the case for Rahul Dravid.
  
  Well, last night's match should've reminded you of Dravid's importance to the Indian side. If it didn't here's some help:
  
  Dravid has played 201 ODIs until yesterday, of which India won has 92. While his overall batting average is 38.4, his average with matches in which India won is 46.53. Believe me, you won't find too many better records in contemporary cricket.
  
  Recent record:
  Let's see the last 20 matches he's played that resulted in Indian victories. He has an average of 50.38.
  
  Brief chronology:
  Top scored in 2 wins in the Natwest series in England - 73 in Match II against England, 64 against SL in Match VI.
  
  Of the 3 wins in the ICC knockout at SL, he had 71 against Zim and 49 against SA (semifinal). Of the 3 wins in the home series against WI, top scored in 2 - 109 in 4th ODI, 58 in the 6th ODI. New Zealand was forgettable tour for every batsman, even here in the 2 wins that India had
  
  This World Cup, in two of the important victories so far - Zim and England - he has 43 and 62 (top score). Added to this is that he's put his hands up for the team's cause and doubles as a wicketkeeper without for once flagging in stamina or commitment, despite being moved like a yo-yo up and down the batting order never mind the fact he's the vice-captian and an influential member of the team management.
  
  Behind the images of a shirtless Saurav, a leaping Kaif or a soaring Yuvraj six, you'll find that Dravid is the one that's adding the solidity that the team desperately needs in both forms of the game. His record in test cricket is stellar, just think of who partnered VVSL in India's historic win against Australia in Kolkata?
  
  I could go on, but I rather you do some reading on Dravid and get ahead of the fickle memory/understanding of an average cricket fan. Atleast, if you have to continue speaking with the authority you seem to summon from seemingly inexhaustible confidence..

  Yes of late in last 20 odd match he is doing well...well the whole Indian team looks new and doing well..Yes, I symphathise with him as to he has to keep wickets...but I seriously doubt that one day (hope its not in this world cup), its going to cost us dearly..

  people have a very limited/short memory...we forget that he came in 1996 and we also forget the ODIs then , singapore, srilankan and Sharja that was played that time...SA tour and other places where India did badly, but dravid had good scores when India lost and invariably some one out scored dravid in every victory....See I some how started believing in the superstition that if RD scores the heighest the India will loose...but some matches India has won Inspite if that (Titan cup) if ST or ganguly score a 50 atleast...might sound illogical...but my theory has worked many a times....
  
  See, in all the world cup matches that India has won so far ...one common factor is Sachin's 50. The match that we lost to Aus...he score 36...where was the wall RD...I am not accusing his as our captain himself doesn't care to score...
  
  Ending this digression.....Having played cricket for so many years and having earned the name of Technically perfect batsmen...I am yet to see him as one match winner in test and ODI.
  
  Even Robin singh was a match winner in couple of occations.

  Dravid is not a match winner. He himself agreed that he can't be a fast scoring batsman. But he is the unsung hero of Indian cricket at present. Unfotunately his performance has not been noticed due to overshadow of somebody's performance like Nehra in recent England match. Think his contribution alongwith Yuvaraj and his good keeping (he is not the best WK). This will enable us to accomadate one batsman / bowler etc. He may not be a direct match winner. But his contribution is great by rotating the strike, when wickets are keep falling, steady the innings etc.
  
  Anyway here is not the place to discuss cricket. Cricket is a game of mixed personalities. Everybody can't be Sachin or Richards.

  i said he is dravid because he is not a person who is going to take over by storm but he is the one who cannot be missed out or imagined without him , he is understood very late, he is the person in recent times gave 5 small songs in a albumullam kollai poguthey ,and harris followed him in minnele and yuvan in thullavatho illamai aand at last vidya sagar , all small songs were addition only when the movie become a hit,
  he gave a techno vanchinathan it had songs which were admired by many foreign friends who i have, but in local it failed . that songs even propmted rahman to give "van nila in kadhal virus" and he is the one to give male solo melody in recent times in album, hisloop of "kadhal vanoli" is being used by yuvan in kadhalkondean , he is good but he is far from masses once he bridges this gap he is the force top reckon

  Have u people ever heared the songs in Ullam kollai poguthey? Hear "kavithaigal sollava", "Adada adada.. yarivalo", "puyale puyale.." etc. Have u heared the songs in "Dumm Dumm Dumm"... hear to "Unperai sonnale..", "Ragasiyamai.." etc, YSR has to stand upside down to attain these type of catching tunes. I am not saying YSR is not talented, but KR is more talented than YSR. His BGMs are close to IRs. Hear to the BGM in "Ullam kollai poguthey" when Prabhu Deva's Sister says him that he has got a card, assuming that it is the greeting that the heroine has sent, he goes in search of that. U will find a classical & beautiful touch. U will feel the pain in ur heart. Don't like anything else say the KR is lesser than YSR. Some movies are failures for KR, so his music didn't reach people. If they were great successes, he would have taken away the TFM industry
