  even we ourselves say IR is indeed great..
  the problem here is that u have to discriminize ARR to say IR is great...
  
  that is the problem...
  
  no one ever said IR is ridiculous....he is great...

  i never discriminated against Western music i asked u a question based on ur opinion abt 'manamatharasa' song. how come MMR becomes vulgar while those songs i mentioned r good for u.a simple direct question, answer to that rather than finding faults in my language.

  Most of the Arr fans accept IR is great but its not the otherway around, you wanna mock ARR cos he beat IR flat and Square.
  
  IR can never be called greater than ARR because
  they composed music for the same period of 12 years, they are not composers of different Era so where you today is a reflection of your work and its success.
  
  By going where IR and ARR is today, definetly ARR is more versatile than IR, ask your IR to compose a Taal or Dilse or Zubeida then we can debate who made better music, who had the wider range, who is more native.

  if ur new to TFm PAge u can go and hav a look at the archives for the threads below to know my viewpoints on those erotic songs of IR and alos some songs of ARR. a small information for u is i hav never said such songs as vulgar.

  IR can never compose music like Taal , Dilse and Zubeida but he can compose more apt music like Lajja, Heyram, siraichaalai.
  the review for the movie Heyram in Filmfare read like this

  And what is apt for you? whatever IR makes and whatever others do aren't apt.
  Can i ask you how authentic were the tracks of Hum dil de chuke sanam? they were too good, does that mean Ismail durbar and Rahman are on the same league.
  One film comparisons dont work, by the way Sanjay leela bansali has dumped Ismail durbar and has opted Rahman to score for Bajro mastani, if you can understand what it means!
  IR can compose Siraichalai, but can he maintain authenticity as well as generate mass sales - N O P E. Eg - Siraichalai vs Laagan.
  ARR got a national award for KM only for authenticity of the score that goes in blend with the film, listen to Vidai kodu engal nade or Vellaipookal.
  Laagan is anyday a better product than Hey ram.
  Listen to Zubeida, Mehndi hai rachnai wale, chodo more baiyan shows ARR's class in all walks of Hindustani music. Was there any Bhajans in Hey ram or a traditional wedding song - nope.
  Listen to Tracks Dhemi Dhemi from Earth, Bannno rani and most of the songs in earth are not superflous.
  Anyways the amount of hatred and defense you show in each post reflects the quality of ARR's songs.
  Oh did i forget to tell you that its a cold way of acknowledging talent.
