  Some times(maybe 3months) back Jensi participated at SABTHA SWARANGAL on SunTV. She is settled in Kerala with her husband. It was the same amazing voice to hear the song "En vaanile.. Ore vennila.." on that prog.I don't think is there anyone to replace Jensi? I llove her voice.

  Vizhiyil vizhundhu is by BSS & not Jency.
  Jency has sung the song " Kathaal oviyum" from the same film.

  It is interesting to see a dicussion on Jency.
  she has a very distinct voice and I don't think it is difficult to distinguish her voice from Sailaja or Sujatha's.
  She has sung some great songs.
  Njan njan paadanum from poothalir and
  oru iniya manathu from Johnny is my contribution to this discussion.

  sri, are you sure `oru iniya mandhil isaiyai' is by Jency? Or is it Sujatha? `en vAzhvilE, orE veNNilA' is by Jency, 100% sure! This film has 5 songs (gems!):
  
  en vAzhvilE - piano stuff, Jency
  oru iniya -nice rhythm, Sujatha
  seno(`snow' as per CD) ritA- fast with synth, SPB
  Asaya kAththula -great percussion, SPS
  & the pinnacle of glory,

  Jency is one of the best singers in the 1980 tamil film industry. The rarest of all her songs is, Mayile mayile from the movie kadavul amaitha medai. The following songs are also her best.

  Jensi's voice is something very unique and
  special.
  My all time favourite song is "Ayiram Malargale malarungal"
  As said by friends here,all her songs are long lasting.I have never seen here in any photos.
  I missed her when whe came in Sun TV for Saptha
  swarangal.
  If anyone knows her collections in any website,pls

  I am a great fan of jency. Like "Kuyil padalam thann mugam kattuma", i still couldn't see her face in any magazine or in any TV interviews or as special guest. One time she was a guest in Sun TV's "Sapthaswarangal". But it was too late when i switched on. The lights on the stage already got much darked only i heared Ramanan's voice Thanking JENCY for coming to the studio. I missed that chance very close.   Thanks for the information on songs sung by Jensi. one song I remember very well is "Deiviika raagam thikattaatha thaalam" in the film "Ullaasap paravaikal".
