  Ramki:
  The duet by TMS & Swarna from "Theinsinduthey Vaanam" is "Ezhuthaatha Paadal Onru, Thazhuvaatha Paavai Onru, Yenakkaaga Neiril Vanthatho?" - it's a beautiful song.
  
  The other song from "Kalyaanamaam Kalyaanam" is "Kaalam Ponnaanathu; Kadamai Kannaanathu; Kaathal Kanavan Pethaiyaanaal Vaazhvu Yennaavathu?" by SPB
  
  MD for "Kumaravijayam" is Devarajan.
  
  Also, thanks for reminding this wonderful duet from "Rajanagham" - "Devan Vethamum Kannan Geethaiyum Oru Paarvaiyil Ingu Sanagamam"( my favourite song ). Isn't "Maanavan Ninaithaal Nadathikkaattuvaan, Avan Nenjam Oru Neruppu, Avan Neirmaiyin Marupirappu" by TMS also from "Rajanaagham"?

  I dont remember abt the 'raajanagham'song u have mentioned but theres one more nice song by PS for Manjula(after she becomes a prostitute)..I dont remember this either.

  I appreciate everyone for your valuble contribution to this thread.
  'devan vedathum' is a very nice song.
  Do anyone have this song?.
  
  The first time, I heard about VK was
  through the 'malrum ninavagul' program in madras
  dd. Singer mano interviewed him. Before the program started, I did not know much about VK, other than that he scored music for few KB films
  He spoke very humbly and let his songs spoke for
  him. They did infact. I was moved by each and
  every song in that program, especially by 'devan
  vedathum' and 'Unnidem mayangeran'. Though mano
  was unnecessarily overacting, the program was
  great. Did any remember this program? It should be
  in mid 80's.
  I always wanted to collect his songs,though
  they are always very difficult to get.
  KB told in an interview that VK was never comfortable in going behind people for getting offer ( A.M.Raja too), and with the arrival of IR in late 70's there was
  no way VK could survive in the market.
  IMO, IR, MSV, KVM are great and have done more than VK, but VK is good in his own way and he will be remembered for that.
  
  If anyone have any of his songs, which I dont have, I will be happy to collect.

  Hari,
  
  I do remember this interview. I hadnt been very impressed by VK's music till then. But then during this interview, when they showed some of his songs, we were pleasantly surprised to note that all were hits.
  
  Mano also asked VK how he had made MSV sing for him (the song was 'unakkena kuraichchal, nIyoru Raja ...', if I havent forgotten). VK replied that MSV was at the peak of his career at that time, but he (VK) forced him to sing for that song saying that only MSV could do justice to that song - MSV had the R.D.Burman kind of voice suited for the song.
  
  And yes, Mano did overact.
