Hope MR gets it right at the earliest!
There was this Kamal Interiview in Kumudam in which he talks about Thevar making-remaking-reremaking his movie "Deiva Cheyaal".When Kamal asked Thevar innocently replied "Athu oru nalla Kadhayappa".
MR s "Pudhu Mana Dhampathy Thanik Kudhithanam and allied romances" is certainly repetitive.Even its admirers "the unmarried 18-25 women with dreams" have complaints about this of late.

Folks
Check out this one about Roja 10 years after it is made. The kind of impact it had on Indian films later.

Gosh, what have I done. I'm seeing unrelenting posts between the same pathetic few again after a long dead spell. Guess I must have triggered this huh. All this jus to prove me a point? WOW!
It reminds us of the former hindus(the pakistani's) how they want to make themself too vociferous so that arab states would be impressed and also hoping they, the new converts, will be accepted by them.
Like i said, is muar that powerfil? :)

Excuse me, Ambleen. I started this...for your kind information. We may be just 1 or 100. But why is it bothering you ? We may be pathetic losers. But instead of being negative we are trying out something positive taking care not to enroach your territory. Is it too much of a courtesy to ask of you ?

Ambleen...Couldn't resist after reading your example...
It is like the Israeli Jews making a big issue of the Holocaust and progating throughout the world how they suffered and were tortured by the Germans...Now Israel is repeating the same thing with the Palestinians.
I hope that you don't repeat the same mistake.

Why is it IR threads enjoy relative peace as compared to ARR threads?
ambleen, without going into old responses, you can find new participants like Maverick, VV and aruvi. Exactly, what is bugging you? Or rather, what is your problem?

From ARRYG
------------
Here's some more intersting info about the Bombay Theme tune
conquering the world.
I came across a Japanese film "MONONOKE HIME" (PRINCESS MONONOKE)
which was released in the west by Miramax. And one of the trailors
of the movie has the 'Mumbai Theme Tune' as its background. It
seems like a trailor made by fans, as the official Miramax trailor
didnt impress many. And they have credited A.R.Rahman/Mumbai theme
tune too. According to the author of the trailor, Christian
Parkes, he got the 'great' music from 'Anokha'.
What more, this film went on to win the Japanese National Film
Awards for The Best Feature Film.

On another note, there has been a number of international
compilations featuring Bombay Theme tune. I found one more, title
"Variour Atrists - Theresa", which is a German compilation.
see
http://www.public-propaganda.de/ppsales/salesfolder/VA_Theresa.html
Also came across a nice review of Bombay Theme Tune:-
http://www.randomshiznat.com/WhatsSpinning/1999092400.html
Track 6 Mumbai Theme Tune by A.R. Rahman is particularly emotive.
I'm reminded of Mozart's Serenade for Winds K.361, the way a
light, airy woodwind, Rahman's digital flute to Mozart's clarinet,
is supported by the low, humming rhythm of deeper instruments
(electronic bass for Rahman and oboes and bassoons for Mozart).
Both pieces tell the story of sadness and loss with the main
instruments, but allow a glimmer of hope to break through via the
supporting instruments. Whereas Mozart lumbers towards a note of
optimism, Rahman finishes somewhat abruptly, with a more ambiguous
conclusion.

Thanks for those links. Interesting to know where ARR's music is reaching.
Everyone else: Please keep this stuff going and ignore all the ambleens of the world. I guess that is the best thing to do.
