  No one is a dhrogi. Romba unarchi vasappadadheenga. Rajini is a quite and humble person. Few years ago I had a chat with him when he came to New York (I think in 97). Through my friend's father, I had a chance to meet with him and talk. I am not a big fan of him as an actor but as a human being.
  
  His reaction against the kaveri issue was purely non-violent and he did not ditch the tamilians in that issue. He did strongly raise his voice against the kaveri problem in his own way and he certainly had the right to do that. What more do you expect from an Actor? Dont forget the kind of support he received on that one day. He is loyal to both karnataka and Tamil nadu. What's wrong with that? I am a tamilian too. But are we not Indians first? You people were watching him for 25 years on the screen right? Why didn't you reject him 25 years ago when he did his first movie?? Wasn't he a kannadian then? Wasn't he smoking on the screen all these years?? What happened to Ramados now? Dont you see all this was just a political stunt?? Ramados used Rajini for his own publicity and that paid off so well. PMK, Jayalalitha and everyone else just merely used Rajini for political reasons and he just got into the trap. That's the truth. He never intended to go against tamilians. If he really wanted to make money, he would have done 3 to 5 movies a year and made billions and if he really wanted to rule TN, he would have easily captured the CM seat 10 years ago when he was at the peak and you know that very well. Think for a while why he didn't do that? Money isn't a big thing for him. He is the only hero in indian film industry who returned the money to his distributors when Baba flopped. What do you say about that?
  
  Even in this past election he had to vote for Jayalalitha because of BJP's alliance. He went against DMK bcos Ramados insulted his fans. If he didn't react to that, he would have lost all his fans. I think he handled that problem well. In his heart he knew that Jayalalitha was going to loose in this election but still he had to vote bcos he wanted Vajpayee to win. Inspite of his support for BJP's alliance, Jayalalitha still lost it. That's because she insulted Rajini by not even thanking him for his support and not using his support in her favour. She was orrogant to the core. That's why Rajini's fans didn't do anything good for her.
  
  So pl dont imagine stuff and think with a broad mind.

  I think Rajni is the only one who does this 'return the money' thingamajingy with much fan fare. Hence we hear about it. Other big stars do it too (eg: Kamal) but we don't hear about it as much. If they didn't, the distributors would band together and make sure these guys never make another movie.
  
  But, that aside, I agree with everything else you said.
  
  The only 'throhi' is see in this is Ramdoss. He cheated the people by propping up the fake issue of 'Rajni corrupting youngsters', rather than address real and tough issues.
  
  I don't see how Rajni can be held responsible for JJ's loss. All he said was that he was voting for her. He never asked his fans to vote for anyone. Neither did JJ use his endorsement to advance her campaign.
  
  I am not a big Rajni fan nor did I ever wish for him to enter politics. But, now I wish he would enter politics fulltime is blazing Badshaa fashion, just to teach a lesson to the arrogant bast-ards such as Ramdoss.
  
  If Rajni does not succeed in stopping Ramdoss now, This SOB will try this same trick every time there is an election. Next time it will be Vijaykanth and then Vikram and so on.

  Rajni has proved himself he is great on several Occasions, He is the only person who has given 80% of commercial hits in Film industry.

  i believe rajinikanth has made a mistake by supporting bjp-aiadmk alliance when it is sure that dmk alliance is going to win,he must have started a new political party and if then he would have contested in the elections independently he victory is sure to him.
  he must not misjudge the people's reaction in the polls that he has no support .they think that karunanidhi is more better than jayalalitha.he must not repeat this blunder again.there are many fans to him all over world and from all parties hence he must not lose his individuality by supporting a single party as in this mp election.
  even the x-cm mgr's last movie was a flop so rajini need not worry about baba's failure he must go ahead with jakkubai which would be a sure success for him.all are expecting a person to rule tn apart from the presently existing political parties.hence rajini must come to politics atleast after the release of his jakkubai in the time of mla elections.
  this is the right time for him to enter politics.we youths are always ath back of him so no need to worry.we are expecting a new leader.it is suprising while small persons are entering politics why rajini is not coming.politics has become a drainage,rajini must enter it to clean it up.

  Rajani as a terrorist in Jaggu Bhai
  Rajanikanth makes a comeback as a terrorist in Jaggu Bhai. Rajni wears a skull cap usually worn by Muslims, long white robe worn by Christian priests and a yellow cape and a red tilak - the colour of Viswa Hindu Parishad. And ominously on his side rests an A K 47, which has killed more people than any other weapon known to mankind. Rajnikanth is producing Jaggu Bhai under the banner of Arunachalam Films. A R Rahman will be providing music to the film. The film will have lyrics by Vairamuthu, camera by Jeeva and art by Sabu Cyril. The shooting will start by July 15 for a Diwali release. The film will be directed by Ravikumar.
  
  There is talk of Aishwarya Rai or Rani Mukherjee acting in Jaggu Bhai, which will mark the return of Rajnikanth to the silver screen.
  
  Aishwarya made her film debut in a Tamil film called Iruvar. She also made a mark in Jeans with Prashant and in Kandukondein, Kandukondein with Mammootty.
  
  For Rani, however, it will be her first full-fledged role in a Tamil film. The only Tamil film she has acted in so far is Kamal Haasan's Hey Ram where she played the actor's Bengali wife. She played the female lead in Saathiya, the Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam's Tamil hit Alay Payudhe.
  
  There has, however, been talk of her reluctance to act in a Tamil film under Ratnam, though she has refuted such reports.
  
  If she does sign up for Jaggu Bhai, Rani may be following in the footsteps of her famous cousin, Kajol, who hit it off with the Tamil audiences with her performance opposite Prabhu Deva
