Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  I wonder why the chords in Jana Gana Mana are not so differentiated and thread like in ths original song. In the piano when he played the chords, I could hear the entire note range of the chord and it was just amazing and no word else for it!!
  
  I really liked the interview. I totally agree with him on his theory abt the survival of the fittest. I never knew that Vanessa Mae project? I wonder why he dint mention abt his project with Vattrina.
  
  The interviewer was pretty good abt not asking same question like "how did roja happen?" and stuff.
  
  Over all I felt more familiar with my icon after watching this interview. Really was a wonderful experience. Thanks to the admins of Uyirvani without whose efforts this would not have been possible.

  Still cant digest the fact the Hindi music critics sayin' "Dol Dol" is a better composition than "Endrendrum Punnagi"'s Hindi equivalent:(..."Endrendrum" rocks bigtime...& "Dol Dol" is no way better than it..:)
