Flaws in Movies

Recent PKS
Only the boarding hostel scene is in Singapore. The rest are in Malaysia and M'sian police have been used (or replica) in the movie, which they claim to be Singaore Police. Singapore police would never agree to do such a scene - A tamil police lets Dhanush escape. Only if some Tamil Govt Official sees this it would be in for another ban!

  VK's use of il instead of izh is a Madurai dialect.
  
  i stayed a few days in Madurai and people say palam instead of pazham, tamhl instead of tamizh anyways that can't be an excuse for an actor who was not easy on our eyes for 25 years.

  Someways ur correct , VK says tamil instead of tamizh and same with vadivelu. But strangely enought IR hails from same madurai and he speaks perfect tamil and the same goes for BR.

  IR hails from Pannapuram - Kambam, this place is stone throws from Thekadi- Kerala border hence i feel it is not influenced by Madurai dialects.
  While we were camping we even saw IR's farmhouse in Pannapuram.
  BR is from Theni and he does speak good tamil.

  I am sorry for sounding pompous!
  I too have made fun of their accents (VK, RK etc.) when among friends, but just not in a public forum. I guess for you guys, you are being among friends here. :)

  Chennai tamizh for pazham is "payam" and Madurai tamizh for pazham is "paLam", as somebody said it. Which is better and worse? You decide. Every dialect has its own limitations and varies from person to person. I guess, making a conclusion based on this isnt the right thing.

  Limitation ellam ok. Cinema-ku vandha appuram atleast edho konjam try pannirukkalam-la to pronounce stuff properly. It is not that all people in Madurai say "palam" and all people in Chennai say "payam". I don't know if this ability (correct pronounciation) comes by birth or watv! Some research is needed in this regard. And then we can decide if Vijaykanth is guilty or not!!

  VK is definetly guilty for speaking Madurai accent in all his movies.
  Does Kovai Sarala speak Kovai tamil in all her movies?

  We are making fun of VK's English and you guys say its wrong to make fun of someone's accent of a foriegn language?
