Unearthing Rare Golden Oldies of TFM into MP3s

There are many many wonderful songs in old TFM (especially belonging to the period before 1980) which many of us have heard and enjoyed in the days of their popularity, but, as years rolled by those songs came to be heard only rarely. This thread is an attempt to unearth such golden oldies. Those who have longed to hear such songs can make a "nEyar viruppam" request here. In response, those who have the songs can convert them into MP3s and share it with others here. Through sites like coolgoose.com and Yahoo briefcase, it is now possible to do such sharing easily.

As rare songs are unearthed and brought out as MP3s, it would be natural to listen to them and discuss them here, so that this thread does not simply become just a set of requests and supplies.

My sister Sathya Kabali has a large collection of rare TFM goldies in cassettes and she is in the process of converting them into MP3s and putting them in coolgoose. The songs she has uploaded are available at this link:

  By the way, would appreciate it if u can upload the following 2 songs by TMS, if u have them:-
  1) avan ninaiththAnA idhu nadakkumendru ( from "Selvamagal", I think - lots of piano work in the song)

  I tried too earlier and your links wouldnt work. If it works for you, it could be because of one possibility. I think yahoo has stopped allowing download from its folders (I think they madee it a 'paid' option, which would allow downloading). If that is the case, it would work for you alone, since you are the owner of the folder.
  
  Please upload it in Coolgoose, if others have also found difficulty in downloading those songs from your yahoo folder.

  I tried again today. Most of the links didn't work for me. There is no problem with yahoo briefcase. I and sk are sharing songs thro briefcase.
  Usually the dl is very quick in briefcase.
  You can try by sharing 2 songs at a time. If that too doesn't work then you have to ul in CG.

  That download was amazingly fast ! Guys, Thank you all for having uploaded such beautiful songs and also ready to help others with similar taste by pointing out the availability of those songs. I am just going through the lovely rendering of PBS in 'Malarodum...' and the lovely slide guitar pieces. These songs have formed my subconscious taste in music when I was a kid, and I am glad to relive those experieces that enlivened those wonderful days. I am reminded of Wordsworth:
