  when i was a student in YWCA i used to hear "bethalayil pirandhavarai potri thudhi maname" by PS and i've enjoyed a lot and started listening to more devotionals of PS
  
  i've heard this then inimayilum but not others
  
  looking forward those as .mp3/.ram files from u

  P.Susheela’s Xian songs form Movies
  Very few xian devotional movies were released so far. I do remember few songs of her from movies.
  “Sathiya muthirai kattalai ittathu nayagan yesuvin vedham” from the movie KannE papa , a hit song, music by MSV , lyrics by Kannadasan . A X-mas song with children.
  “ karunai mazhaye Mary matha kangal thiravayo” a song from “annai velankanni” (1971), music by G.Devarajan and lyrics by Kannadasan. Padmini sing this song for her handicapped son. (As per the story, the boy was hurt and his mother pray to hive him leg. Mother mary give a darshan to the handicapped boy near a lake and cure him. Now, also they are maintaining the lake and constructed a holy place around that.) . Appadiye uruga vaikkira paadal. This movie was remade in telugu as “mary matha” and the same song is sung by PS as “Karunamayive”, lyrics by Anisetty.

  “ Matha neeye Arul vellame” from the movie “villiyanoor matha”, a song on mother mary. A good song.
  “ selavame Deiveega malare, kuzanthai yesuve” is from the movie “kuzhanthai yesu” (1984) a song on Infant jesus, music by shyam. This movie also remade in telugu as “Bala yesu” and the same song was sung PS again, “Divyame “ and lyrics by Ammiraju.
  “ Annai mary unnaiyanti Aruthalai yaar tharuvar”, may be from villiayanoor matha is another beautifully rendered song. The background music with church bell and she goes to high pitch at ease.

  Legend has it that PS was to render even 'Yesu nathar pesinaal'- Thaaye Unakkaga-1966, but since she wasn't available, the song went to B Vasantha.
  
  'Annai Mary unnai andri' is from Paavanthin Sambalam-1978. Music perhaps by S-G.
  
  'Matha Vedanayagi'- is from Viliyanoor Matha-1983 (PS for Vijayashanthi), Music by G Devarajan.

  There are some lovely christian songs in telugu movies that PS had - "Raajyamu balamu mahima neeve neeve" comes to my mind immediately. Unfortunately I couldn't find a link to this song anywhere on the net.
  
  But I wanted to share two of my PS favorites today. These two songs take me to a different world altogether. Such is the beauty of her voice and the compositions themselves.   thats nice!
  U mention a real worth song "Raagala saragaala", one of my favorite in telugu. The humming in the beginning itself take me somewhere, following the sweet and clear voice, "ragaala". I frequently ask these songs "naa kanti papalo niluchi pora", "madhuram madhuram ee samayam", "haayi haayiga jabilli tholi", "neevani nenani" and the evergreen "jagame marinathi". I remember a word of mr.Vamanan about telugites , " menmayana isayai varpathil kai thernthavargal". I could realise it after listening this songs.

  I know very few telugu devotionals by PS. As we started discussing, I thought I share this also with U all.
  Telugu X’ian devotional of PS
  1. rA rA jeeva dhaara yesu nadha, rA rA jeeva dhaara kreesthu raja
  A devotional song with SPB.
  2. srirasthu kreesthuni naaman chinthaharam param
  sounds like a our music with background music with veena , keyboard..
  3. prabhuvu yesu paata parama mukthike paata
  western music background, with guitar, drums..
  4. sookthi sudhAmayA chreesthu mahodaya sathaya sahrudaya samatha nilaya
  A semiclassical type with typical PS style of songs. excellent rendition.

  Other cassettes :
  Very recently, I got a CD named “ Kraisthava bhakthi ranjani” music by G.Veerabdra rao , ltrics by premkumar and ramu. Five solos were by PS and it looks like recorded in late 90’s.

  2. Jeevahaaramu neevani, jeeva jalamu neevenani

  First three song like our style of music and last two are typical western style songs. last one is especially for children on x-mas days. I can imagine some little angels, playing the song in church..
  
  One more cassette is “Sathya suvaraatha sumaalu, recorded in 2000 with one song of PS “ paadenu laali, nidhurincha Oyi paraloka raja jo “, a lullaby and sounds good.

  I know fewer devotionals than you do. Some of the songs you mentioned - I have never even heard of! That's an impressive list that you had. Sometimes you amaze me with the amount of material you have on PS. I have no such knowledge even with SJ and VJ, my favorites, let alone PS and KSC, my second line of favorites.
  
  "I remember a word of mr.Vamanan about telugites , " menmayana isayai varpathil kai thernthavargal". I could realise it after listening this songs" - this is one of the nicest comments I have heard in the recent several years. Such a break from the usual derogatory gult-laden terms!   Kaumudi: Telugu Film Music has a wonderful history- stalwarts like Rajeswara Rao, CRS, S Varalakshmi, Nagiah, Ravu Balasaraswathi, Pendyala, Bhanumathi, S Dakshinamoorthi, Ghantasala, M Venu, Chalapathi Rao-- and so many others have given so many immortal melodies.
  Mr. Vamanan's comments are wholly justified.
