Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  Same Sify wrote three weeks before,Sharukh wins over Chennai and his Main Hoon Naa,had 58 housefull shows at Chennai Sathyam and Ega put together in the first week and earned 25.2 lakhs collections which was higher than Vijay's Gilli....So the same holiday mood youngsters have visited again Sathyam cinema for AE....Otherwise second week collections are drastically sliding all over Tamilnadu for AE and it will be worse than Boys..padam...

  farhan akthar has made just one film..no doubt it was a good film..but u know it dint do well in the interiors, even in the cow belt..it was regarded as a city film! also, lets wait for lakshya..im waiting for it too..

  One great day in Bombay, a couple were on a honeymoon tour. They saw one ARR in front of a hospital was trying to fill some form. So the couple enquired eagerly
  "ARR what are you doing?"
  ARR replied that I had a baby and I am filling the birth certificate
  form.
  The couple as per schedule, took the Bombay to Delhi for their next destination. On the next day, they find the ARR in Delhi filling the same form.
  So once again young couple asked" ARR what are you doing ?"

  The couple said but ARR yesterday you were in Bombay filling the same form, how come you're in Delhi?

  The doctor asked him what happened to his ears.
  ARR answered, "I was ironing a shirt and the phone rang - but instead of picking up the phone I accidentally picked up the iron an stuck to my ear."

  Mani Ratnam's Aayitha Ezhuthu may not be palatable to the common man
  but is creating a new box office record!
  
  At Satyam theatre in Chennai, the highest collecting movie house in
  South India, Aayitha Ezhuthu has netted an amazing Rs 15,00,300 in 30
  shows (including Sat and Sun morning shows). This is a new theatre
  record for the 1260 seater which reported almost 100 percent
  collections.
  
  Aayitha Ezhuthu is doing extraordinary business in Coimbatore, Kerala
  and Bangalore while in the rest of Tamilnadu in B centres like
  Tanjavur, Tirunelveli and Salem it is sliding. In Kerala, Aayitha
  Ezhuthu and Yuva combined has netted Rs 31 Lakhs from 13 prints in the
  first week.
  
  For distributors in Tamilnadu the film may break even as it was sold
  at a reasonable price to compensate the losses they had incurred in
  Madras Talkies` earlier film Kannathil Muthamittal. Madras Talkies
  themselves were distributing the film in Chennai city where the film

  someone was wondering me where was the Tea Stall.
  
  The tea stall I mentioned is just outside Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. Lot of patients are going for matinee show with Oru Gin Naal Tea.
  In fact, Mani Nair goes to that hospital frequently, because he serves Orange Naal Tea when people ask him for Oru Gin NAAAAAAL TEAAAAA, Aiya.
