Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  In a TV interview on AE, MR claimed that he has given a direction to the youth of the country in the movie to do something about the social evils !
  
  In the moview we see Surya and his gang of students fighting and beating all and sundry. Which student group will do this ? Already our masterbating thin students need help to stand up! Even assuming they can fight like Surya - will the direction shown by MR taken up by the Pappara boys ? They will be busy with their books to score the highest marks in the exams. Then, only the non-brahmin and tough SC boys should take up the fighting. MR the ketta pappan thus shows a cunning and wrong direction to the non-brahmin students to neglect studies and spoil themselves. The script writer to this movie SUJATHA is another Iyengar pappan, who talks in TV INTERVIEWS that Computer should be taught in Tamil only while his 2 sons studied in English medium and are now in US !

  Ace Tamil director Mani Rathnam feels actor Madhavan in 'Ayda Ezhuththu' film should have mouthed dialogues in a particular fashion 'Ponoma!' 'Vandoma!''Senjoma'- About this when we quizzed Manirathnam, the director said: " In fact Madhavan should have spoken more obscene dialogues than what he did, "he said.
  
  
  
  However, in 'Ayda Ezhuthu' – there is one scene where Madavan speakes to his friend in a kind of style 'Ponoma' 'Parthoma' 'Senjoma' etc, which has attracted criticism from some quarters. Mani Rathnam feels " You see, Madavan's to get out of his problems, had a door kept opened and wanted go through that. But he just could not leave this girl; and sod away. He is head over heels in love with the girl. It’s a character, which is lolling around the streets. We must imagine the story in his angle. In fact, the language he speaks, we should have mixed up a few more obscene words. But again we cannot over the top. That’s why, we could not cross the border line," adds Manirathnam.
  
  The relationship of Madavan and Meera is seen more of a sexual urge than love" all for which Manirathnam is ready with an answer. "Sexual urge is not an obscene word! Who said so!   MR is a copy cat. He copied the climax of Bombay movie from the climax of V.Shantaram's "geeth gaya Patharonne".
  
  His "Mouna Ragam " was a carbon copy of Mahendran's "Nenjathai Killadhey !"
  
  AE is a half-baked mischievous movie to divert the attention of Non-Brahmin students from competing with the Brahmin Ba*ta*ds!
  
  The Poonool group consisting of that stupid Madhan (Madhan's parvai) and the allied "paparasi" boosted up the non-descript movie.

  For Maniratnam, the Iyer Thayirsathams are US material and SC/BC guys are rowdies. The Iyer th*evidiya pasangal will have name like Arjun and SC/BC guys name will be Inba/sekar etc. Stereotyping's other name is Maniratnam. These Thayirsathams Maniratnam movies are Oscar materials compared to SC/BC directors Bala, Cheran etc. Even their own cross belt director Balachander showed in Varmaiyin Niram Sigappu these Thairsathams will sell their own wives to come up that cheap B*astards.

  Ayudha Ezhuthu Appittu Naan Appavae Sonnanaen....Ground breaking blockbuster is nowhere. I read the konalpakangal fro charu nivetha man this guy tears maniratnam apart. Do you know this same Maniratnam claimed Nayagan his original and send it to Oscar. Audience after watching it came to kow it is a lift from God father and rejected it.
