YSR the man of the moment.

7GRC has brought tremendous success to YSR this year. This was then followed up by the phenomenal success of Manmadhan. Yuvan is at a peak in his musical career. With a number of hits under his belt, Yuvan is taking time out to concentrate on his family life also.

YSR plans to tie the knot with his long term girlfriend, Sujaya next year. Though it has been delayed for a couple of years, insiders believe that the wedding is to take place in the first half of 2005. This is a wonderful news for all YSR fans who can post their wishes for Yuvan and Sujaya here.

  AE is good to hear as far as sound effects etc. But then, I think the songs do not fit well in Movie.
  
  For EX. "Unmai Sonnal" is good song. Just to make it different, he choose some Hindi Male voice. It does not really gel with the Movie. Same is the case with "Dol Dol". It is good to hear in Car and I did not appreciate it in Movie.
  
  At the same time YSR's composition lacks something. I think he just work with Album selling formula. However, at times he gives a glimpse of excellence.
  
  I felp MP was a good and sensible Album.

  I whole heartedly agree with you, I was watching alaighal Oiyvathillai, how many amazing songs, but IR should not have sung all of them, SPB must have been the ultimate choice for 'Kadhal Oviyum', if Not P.Jeychandran, SNS could have been OK too, as he was lending his voice to Karthick, IR was an excellent choice for,'Vaadi en Kappa kizhangu' though.

  y, ur pop-in-law gave music on behalf of ARR for these movies????These were all ARR's efforts/hardwork and no one can deny that......
  
  Mr.anbesivam, i totally agree with u that AE songs were a bit out of place in the movie but when it comes to song composition, ARR takes so much more effort than YSR, that's y he is way ahead of anyone else in the industry......YSR is also brilliant esp in TI and KadhalKondein....but he needs to improve on his song finishing and output.....

  whatever fault u find with ysr, the same goes true for arr.
  
  for one who is credited with international standard by his diehard fans, his songs always have other's signatures. even drummer sivamani had mentiones this in one interview.

  I don't deny that ARR has given good music to Mani's films. If he would have given the same to some unknown director, it might have been unnoticed like Uzhavan, Vandicholai chinnarasu, super police, parasuram etc.
  
  Has he ever accepted offers from an unknown director??? He can't :) The talent of lifting any crap movie with only music is an extra ordinary job. Only persons who have confidence like IR can do. Not by all.

  How is it that every thread about YSR seems to turn into a discussion about ARR?
  ARR has not done any major hits in Tamil for the past couple of years, yet people still continue to talk as though he is still Number 1.
  This is not a discussion about who is number 1 or not. But YSR has done a great job in both 7GRC and Manmadhan. I think he is the MD with the most potential in TFM currently.

  YSR is the man of the moment... He is the only one (in the absence of ARR) who is able to provide good BGM...

  God Father...this is an YSR discussion forum but still we'll coninue the arguement:u said IR lifts weak combos to hit combos...agreed....but do u know how many big budget movies ARR had lifted...these movies are equal to 100 Mohan movies and 1000 rajkiran movies in terms of budget........i'll give u the list and if u have doubts pls reply...

  hey all are not dumb in north...if ur simbu can act like SRK then u'll(chennai) get 1000 cms of rainfall next year....take it from me.......

  You may be die-hard IR fan - but it is not necessary to be loyal to his whole family. Making some smart comments does not change anything.
  
  For some reason many IR fans in TFM page hate ARR, and like YSR/KR. It is unfortunate. (Yourself, Nattamai are some good examples).
  
  YSR lacks creativity - just like Deva. There is nothing "fresh" in his music. He is a good delivery man. Recently he is making pretty good choice of movies, which has given him good exposure - that's it. Ramesh Vinayagam (Azhagiya Theeye), R.P.Patnaik (Jeyam) are better composers compared to YSR.

  True. I feel that YSR is comprimising(or probably yielding to directors schedule) to grab good movies. He should raise about that and spend the due time like ARR to give output like ARR.
  
  But I feel from the glimpses he shows in some songs, he definitely has the spark and potential. If for composing songs and producing perfect music, he need to take a certain time, he should take it and should not worry even if he loose the project for that.
  
  In most case he comes 95% of perfection and the rest 5% he is not determined to do. But the some songs he achieve that 100%, gives the hope that he is the one.
  
  Also, from what directors say about him, he is the guy with good attitude(which is a plus).
  
  Offlate he just work for the formula of hit compromising the soul stirring part of it. This gives the feeling that he may fade away.
  
  Let us see. Time will tell.
