  Sure thing. Always ready to discuss thennangeeRRu UnjalilE and other favorites. That CD is one of our family favorites now! Believe it or not, I started writing stories in thamizh (and now English); some of the thamizh stories actually got published!! That, combined with my ancient thamizh literature research takes up some time beyond family & career. Hope your KB adventure still continues.

  is by the novelist Jeyakanthan. andha paadal idam
  petra padam `Paadhai theriyudhu paar'. adhan kadhai, vasanam
  paadalgaL ellaam Jeyakanthan. The movie came in
  the early 60's, I think 1962. MD: MB Srinivasan.
  
  In those days Vaali was running around desperately,
  looking for chances in movies. His friend, actor
  V Gopalakrishnan got him an appointment with MBS
  when this movie was being made. MBS asked Vaali
  to pen a song, Vaali wrote one immediately, but
  MBS thought it was very ordinary; so Vaali was not
  given a chance in that movie. That very same song
  appeared again in 'Padagotti' years later and
  became a big hit. That song was.. koduththadhellaam
  koduththaan avan yaarukkaaga koduththaan.
