If SP Bala is so great , why has Bollywood rejected him?

SP bala never sings in hindi...he is not in demand!

By the way I am being devils advocate here, I myself am a great fan of SP bala but i would like the listeners reaction to this statement

  I agree with you point, it is highly impossible for a SPB (as he is a human being like us) to travel from Chennai, to Mumbai, or daily for recording, it would be atleast 3 to 4 hour flights, plus the he will be really tired doing such things :-).
  
  SPB is not just the greatest singer, but he also an actor/producer/music composer/dubbing artists..etc, so we can not expect a human being to do more things at the same time, it is highly impossible!,he is just as ordinary human like us, he has to eat, sleep, rest, spend time with his families & friends, ..etc.

  LOve had music by Anand Milind.
  SPB sang 4-5 songs in the film. Couple of nice duets with Chitra. Film * Salman Khan & famous Malyalam actress...(she directed the film Mitr)can't remember the name sorry.

  As for SPB singing in HAKHK...well sung but I can't believe that year Kumar Sanu was nominated best singer for that film for possibly the worst song of the album....This was blatent discrimination against SP Bala....I am sure he must have been disheartened by this.

  Yes the Sanu is disgrace to the Indian Cinema, SPb must have felt like killing self, singing along with him, god this Sanu has the worst nasal voice ever!

  Love is a remake of the telugu hit "Prema" for which IR scored the music (it has some lovely numbers). And as usual, Anand Milind lifted almost all the numbers from the original and modified them slightly to suit the Hindi audience.

  Love was a suceessful movie in Hindi cinema world. It gave life top Salman Khan. If u notice, SPB has song more songs for Salman Khan. This dude doesn't know how to act, but his films were huge hits because of music and Songs..
  Though is not much moblilized in HIndi MUsic, he breaks the records , he makes history.
  Indeed he is a GREAT singer, we are lucky that Balu is singing more in South films.
  Now a days, Balu is not singing more in Tamil(Telugu I don't know), but he is singing inm Kannada films, HIs recent album "SRi Manjunatha" was super hit, wow man he has sung very nice songs in that. hIs voice suits all the actors from 18 - 70 years old.
  BUt still, some times in Kannada film also they cheat Balu.
  This Karnataka govt, will never give award for singers .. for example, take Balu or janaki or susheela, they have not given any awards , how ridiculous!!!!
  SPB is the great singer, which India has seen till date. I don't know whether it will see other singer like Balu or not!!!

  Yesterday, I saw songs from a Telegu dubbed Hindi moviw "Dulhan Dilwaale ki"...Venkatesh, Preety Zinta starring.
  
  Songs were pretty good and there was two SPB songs. I could find any Hindi murder in that by SPB. He was as usual and fabulous in those songs.
  
  Before anyone ask me who am I pass judgement on Hindu pronounciation, let me tell you that I am born and brought up in Bihar and I was there for more than 12 year. So my Hindi and its understanding of it is not all that bad.
  
  First people have to throw the crap out of their mind that SPB's hindi sucks....it is far better that KS and other Bangla singers.

  Most of them forgot his first Hindi Movie songs Ek Tuje Keliye and for the same He got the National Award. No singer has got such an award for singing in other language for the first time.
  
  Hindi film Industy has lot of discrimination towards south indians in earlier days. Like what happen to Kamal Hassan by AB.
  
  I think AR Rehman has broken that (Sivaji had told in his one of the interviews that Rehman the same (since lot of muslims has dominated the Hindi screen) has not differentiated them. of course he has lot of talent)

  Even Hindi media used to complaint lot about the South Indian pronounciation. They never bother about their one. Whether we like it or not, Udit Narayan (even after media complaining about tamil pronounciation)is getting chance continously in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada (don't know about malayalam).
  
  SPB is a guiness record holder for recording more no of songs.
  
  Jankai is also having very good voice. But she is not as popular as Latha or Asha of North. In all Rahman films Janaki used to sing the tamil/telugu version Latha/Asha or vice versa.

  We need not worry about why he is not famous in Hindi.
  
  We can ask the same thing to Hindi film personalities. Sharukh may be famous across the coutnry. But if he acts in any Regional language (particularly South Indian), he can't give a hit. That doesn't mean South has rejected Sharukh or Aamir.
  
  So we need not worry about their certificate

  I am not a Telugite, I am from Bangalore. I am fan of SPB.
  Northies speak about SP Balu's HIndi pronunciation.. ok leave they say that SPB's kills HIndi , so they don't give much chance to SPB.
  Then if u consider, UDit Narayan, Sadhana Sargam or Asha Bhonsle singing for Tamil/Telugu/Kannada movies. They kill the languages like abything. Int his vision, Sonu NIgam is an exception. His pronunciation is good. Sadhana can improve. But UDi' pronuciation is really the worst.
  If u have heard Vidyasagar's latest albuum"DHool" ,in that u find a song by Udit "Ithnudu Muthathil", u cannot understand even a single word in that. But Udit says that "he is very dedicated in his work and pronounces each and evry word clearly", I don't why these south indian MD's are giving chances to them.
  Even IR has given chance to ASha in "ShenBagame " song from Enga Oor Paatkaran, her pronouncitaion was not so good.
  But see our south indian singers like - Chitra, Janaki, Spb, Anuradha sriram, there pronounciation is far bettter. They are very dedicated towards there work. But Most of the North singers are filled with PRIDE. MD's should stop giving chances to them.
  In Tamil Nadu, tehy don't even learn HIndi as Thir language in their school, but why do these Md's are doing like this. I don't know what these Tamil lovers are doing ..

  well said, I don't y these silly MD's use aryan clowns to sing in south, any aay, one more aryan clown is missing, it is none other than the greatest nasal legend Mr.Kumar Sanu, soon we will have him singing as well, by that time, I will surely stop listening to any tamil songs :((
  
  Ok, 4get about accents, the naryans, the sanu's all have horrible nasal voices, they only suit the aryans heros, not the tamil ones, when Udit sang for Rajni , I went really mad, I mean really mad :))
  
  we should get rid of these clowns as soon as possible, I quite like sadhan sargam's voice though :)
  
  Once I read in an interview, SPB was called by Shankaer eshan loy to sing some songs for the tamil version of alavandhan, while SPB was singing, Shanker Eshan, asked SPB to sing in "Kocha" tamil, SPB got mad and left without recording a son, mind you SPB sang all the songs for the Telugu version of Alavandhan, I suggest u listen to it and compare it with the tamil one, you will realise what is gold then :)
