Shankar with Harris Jayaraj

Hi gang,
This time i have got some spicy news as usual.
Shankar has booked harris jayaraj for his new movie with vikram in the lead.
Its a movie for oscar films.

  For the first time, Vikram and Shankar are getting together in a dream project, titled ‘Anniyan’. There are thousands of versions circulating about the origins of the film’s story. But, here is the truth.
  
  Though Shankar is a reputed director, he is in a situation right now in which he has to prove himself. In these circumstances, he has got together with Vikram for ‘Anniyan’. Vikram too is under pressure to maintain his success streak. So, after many discussions and debates, the film ‘Anniyan’ began.
  
  
  
  Vikram plays dual role in thid film for the first time in his career. Some believe that one role is that of an Iyer man and the other happens to be that of a man widely believed to be dead. Others say that the film is an inspiration from the Bollywood hit ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. The second Vikram is an alien from the outer space.
  You can rest assured of one thing- Vikram and Shankar would only come up with a good entertainer. Shankar isn’t using anyone from his former unit. He is recruiting everybody again.

  Director Shanker and hero Vikram team up for the first time in 'Anniyan', produced by V Ravichandran of Oscar Films.
  
  It's also the first time Vikram and Sadha are coming together. Again, it's the first time that Vikram is doing a dual role. In the first-time list there is also the new combination of Shanker and music director Harris Jairaj.
  
  From his very first film, 'Gentleman', to his latest, 'Boys', Shanker has had A R Rehman composing music for him. Now he has replaced his favourite music composer with the happening Harris Jairaj. The lyrics would be penned by Vairamuthu.
  
  Some of the technical credits include people who have been associated with the earlier films of the director. Like Sabu Cyril who designs the sets, V T Vijayan who edits the film, Sujatha who pens the dialogue, Raju Sundaram who choreographs the dances and Peter Hien who arranges the stunts. Wielding the camera is V Manikandan.
  
  The film, which was launched at AVM Studio, had big-wigs of the industry attending it. And outnumbering them were the fans of Vikram. They crowded around the actor, leaving little space for anyone to go anywhere near him.
  
  The publicity blurb for the film says: 'He who comes from Hell is not afraid of Hot Ashes'. Promsises to be exciting fare!

  Hey guys,
  I love Vikram as well...he's a really good actor and has a really great personality, I was fortunate enough to meet him when he came to Malaysia for the ITFA awards and was totally bowled over by this charismatic actor (eventhough I was already crazy about him before that).

  Shankar knows that most of the great songs are composed by HJ when he was with ARR.None of the ARR's albums sounds good after HJ entry.

  i think it will be a refreshing change for fans.....HJ will produce new sounds and hopefully can erase "urvasi","kannodu kanbethellam","Girlfriend","chikku bukku rail" songs from ppl.'s hearts by providing better songs.....ARR fans shuld feel happy that his commitments to tamil is decreasing....he can now concentrate more on bollywood and international projects...

  God he better do sumthin right when composing for Anniyan and not remake the songs Maddy just pointed out cuz his Arul was quite disappointing.if shankar couldnt get ARR's dates he shoulda went for YSR at least we would have gotten sum original tunes.

  WE Personally feel shankar should have gone for someone like YSR or VS....who definitely give better music than HJ...but shankar who now is out of sorts and thrased by the public for his movie boys..is afraid of going to ny new hero or md... before he used 2 say hesnt bothered abt actor who is acting in his film and its all abt story...but wht happened after boys....even arr kicked him off for taking movies like that and shankar had no choice but 2 go 2 someone whos in top of charts like vikram and in music..someone who we can say a clone of arr.. am sure music of anniyan would be a BIG TIME FLOP...even though the HYPE IS VERY HIGH!!!!!!!!
