That s from this person who has seen Gauravam,Ooti Varai Uravu,Anda Naal atleast 10 times.I had wept seeing Pasamalar,Kappal ootiya thamizhan.

But I cried after seeing Lorry Driver Rajakannu.To watch " 2+1" dialogue from the mouth that voiced Sakthi Krishnaswami s powerful dialogues ,boy!it pains even today.When did the fall start?

  Suresh,That was an exemplary research on Sivaji s Costumes and their designs!
  
  Do you suspect "Vetrikku oruvan Sivaji s" hand in Bruce lee s untimely,mysterious and tragic death?
  
  I think people like Chinna Annamalai and other members of coterie worked overtime to choose his wigs,costumes,locations heroines and at last,stories.Dharmaraja was Chinna Annamalai s own production.You can see Sivaji defying the laws of physics and would use a parachute to climb up!Is there a Telugu NTR original or a remake of Dharmaraja?
  
  The other day we were talking about Sivaj s marathon walkathon around chennai with his convocation dress in Ilaya Thalaimurai.The only "Equal" i can think of is Manoj Kumar as College student in "Clerk".I recommend "Clerk" and all friends and foes for extravagant unadulterated entertainment.
  
  Chihtra pournami -Sivaji sports a wig which was subsequently borrowed by Cher.JL was the sole relief.
  
  KS Kutralalingam was another plotter.Ponnunjal atleast had great songs.But Oorukku oru Pillai was another milestone in Sivaji s anti-social career.
  
  JL,Vanishree and KRV were atleast in their fag end of their career.But Sripirya,a talented actress,was the biggest casualty TF suffered because of Sivaji s overdrive.

  MSV in the late 70s and 80s had this knack of coming up with the worst scores for his own movies. 'mangaLavAthhiyam' is the perfect case of sado masochism. 'thuLLi varum kALai', 'vaNdI nA vaNdi thAn' are at best, 'switch-off-the-radio'
  c(r)lass. Add to this TMS for Kamal joke called 'veLLa kAkkA mallAkka padukkuthu' and you have an instance of the most gory suicide ever attempted.

  Miruthanga Chakaravarthy was super duper hit. I think I was in 3rd standard. we were in madurai. there was a theater called Jayaraj. there the movie was running. we went there twice and didn't get the tickets. it was so crowded.
  Anbe Aruyire has some good songs. better dont watch the movie. records the songs and listen.

  satyam has one good song.

  performance in the movie was amazing. kamalahasam performance against JC was immatured.

  2. Neerada Neram nalla Neram (god! it was sridhar's movie. I cudn't believe it)
  
  Mannavan Vandthanadi. Only consoling thing in this
  movie is "Kaathal Raajiyam Enathu" song. Please just record and listen to this song.
  
  Pilot Premnath was ok. I remember many good songs in that movie.
  
  Rojavin Raja has two good songs.

  movie?! stay away from the cassette or
  vcd or anything else.
  
  Rathapaasam has three good songs.
  1. spb and sasirekha - poo manakum poongkuzhali (if u hvn't listened, please listen. it is a good song.)
  2. maan kutti ippothu en kaiyile
  3. en ullam enkinra vaanathile pon megam thavazhirathu (all these three songs are really good). movie is real hopeless. shot in
  italy. too much.
  
  Uthaman has three good songs. KVM was the MD.

  "neengal athanai perum uthamarthaana chollungal" is in "En Mahan". That movie has one more good song "Ponnukenna Azahu Poovukenna Perumai".

  Vaira Nenjam movie came in TV some time back. But I couldn't sit and watch. Iw as wondering how can Sridhar make such a movie. Also "Mohanap Punnahai". Good theme. Bad screen play and casting. But that movie has very good songs.

  I guess, Mohanap Punnahai was the last movie of Sridhar-MSV combination. Three heroines in the movie. One was Jayabharathi. Uncle's daughter of Sivaji. She falls in single sided love with Sivaji. Sivaji loves someone (I dont know the name of the actress). During betrothal, Jayabharathi kills her with jealous and commits sucide. Then comes Anuradha (yes. the same cabaret dancer). Daughter of gardener where sivaji relocates to forget the past. with sympathy she falls in love with sivaji. but sivaji finds a groom for her. after marriage she leaves abroad by ship with her husband. but when the ship moves she jumps in to the sea. At her death sivaji starts loving her ( or something like that). This is the vauge story line I remember. Correct if it is wrong.
