Kiru, thanks for your comments. Sure I am actually working on something for strings and for some newer opportunity. I will post it once it's done and then seek opinions.

Hello Friends:
Thanks for listening to music and for your comments.
Here's my new score "Life". Style of this music will be obvious. Basically this is my imagination of how a life starts and evolves until the end. This is not a song although some of the sections of song can seem that way!
Let me know how you feel about this music...

MS,
Thanks for listening.
The tabla font was created by Ravi Annaswamy (a painstaking effort in itself). I uploaded the font on to my sound card (I had AWE 64 GOLD with Windows NT when I worked on "Singaara Velaa" )and drove it with midi sequencer.
The more you compose and listen to your own works, you start improving your own standards.

Hello Divakar:
In general I like this composition...isn't it the one that you had posted earlier? Good Feel...But sax performances were out of sync and tune occasionally...Performances are expressive but I wish it was more consistent through out...I like the way piano ends...
With this MP3 page, your scores can be easily accessible...Appreciable...
Regards,
Aditya

Aditya, thanks for reviewing that song.
Yes I did post that song before as ShortRhythm as just melody and guitar strums but decided I could add some more passages to complete that song.
I took some risk on the sax passages to make it sound little jazzy guess it might have turned out a bit out of tune with the scale at couple of places.
Thanks for pointing it out.

This "Grandpa.." is really good. I don't know who you remembered and why, but the tune has a lovely upbeat feel to it. You had two tunes intertwined constantly with one of them being constant and the other transversing the notes of Naata. It would have been nicer if you had the constant tune too change at times acting as a complement to the other tune.
I enjoyed this, Thanks!

Aditya,
Right Mouse Button wouldn't work too when the URL has exceeded its bandwidth. Thats the problem with uploading files in sites like geocities.
http://www.angelfire.com is a better site. I guess it offers more bandwidth.

Renu,
I got a chance to listen to Ur Rain Dance...here are my thoughts..hey I also replied to Ur email...just in case...
Now the chord progressions in the rhythm is what makes the crux of it ....it goes like (in Western notation) A,B,C (la la la) and D,C,B and G,A,B and finally C,B, A to complete the first phrase.....good chord progression (Am, G, G, Am) and what adds a little emotion to the tune is the next progression F (F, G, A) so in all Am, G, G, Am, F...
is a good chord progression and ofcourse a quite often use one too, and many people would immediately notice the familiarity and thats becoz of the CP. I am gonna restrict my comments to this 'Coz the title reads RainDance so its rythmic chord progressions....Good Job

Renu..song sounds nice. One comment on the mixing..it would be a good idea to bring the clapping to the foreground and leave the instrument playing the melody line in its own space..Usually..all the rhythm instruments should be upfront, the melody slightly behind this (and at the highest level) and harmony behind all this at a level below the other too..This works best..atleast this is what I observed in Rahman's music and you know his mixing is very popular.
