  this message specially goes to ppl who
  are talking bad abt BABA. a simple explanantion : to a
  child who has not seen his mum for 4 yrs and gets to
  see her one day he will never get to see the flaws
  even if she has some that same goes to US ....true
  fans.....lets look at the good points first the great
  man decided to act after nearly 4 yrs ... no 2 : he
  had the guts to do his own story and he produced it
  even if it fails its gonna be his failure but no way
  its gonna fail
  no 3: check out our hero's dance moments in this movie
  thats great effort
  the list can go on and on. As a movie goer u got the
  right to condemn the movie but don do it here coz we
  will not just sit and watch u blabber pure nonsense.

  It's definitely not Rehman's best, but it manages to gel with the proceedings. What doesn't gel is the rap bit in the background, the refrain of 'Baba, Baba........Hey Baba that's me!" A bit kiddish here. He could as well have kept it as 'Baba Black Sheep.........!' quipped a wisecrack from behind.

  Innovative film
  baba has all the ingredients of good movie .
  my first impression was that this movie would
  be flop as the second half moved at snails pace.
  when i saw the movie for the sceond time in a slightly different perspective,the movie looks
  great especially with his punching dialogues and
  mesmerizing style.
  rajnikanth has done his character to perfection.
  if kamal had this movie ,people would have said
  that he is versatile,innovative,creative and all
  blah,blah,blah.
  this movie simply goes to show that rajnikanth
  has lot of ideas up his sleeves.
  any day thalaivar rajnikanth is the best hero
  that the indian cinema has seen.no one is even

  dear friends
  
  i specially went last nite for midnite show of baba to gather a fair
  a analysis of the whole phenomenon this movie is causing. i set done
  for a while to analyse to give a fair view on the movie overall. let
  me start off saying one should salute RAJINI for making this bold
  move to be himself. rajini has learnt from his guruji thru intense
  meditation and following satyam, one has to oneself always that is
  the nature of all human beings. whether the movie is a winner or
  loser is once perception only. if you love rajini and his philosophy
  and great interest and thirst to share his intense immense deep love
  for our vedentic tradion as preached by swami dayanand saraswati and
  a host of swamiji's from various spritual missions. common people
  fail to listen to this great self knowledge of 'TATVAM ASI'. rajini
  being a actor convert seeker, could not wait to share this knowledge
  with our fellow people. honestly those who do not have some knowledge
  of onself will fail to understand the underlying philosophy rajini
  trying to share. i personally felt rajini could have improved in his
  delivery and share of story to give the message. it was lacking in
  the second half of the story. i really wish he would do another movie
  and improve on the story line so that people go back with a strong
  message. but maybe he took softone to test the market maybe. i really
  dont know, its just perception. but its excellent attempt. ARM RAHMAN
  has done wonderful job in music score especially in SAKTHI KODU,
  lyrics well done by v.muth and valli. MGR believed in one god
  philosophy, that what gave immense inner strength. RAJINI philosophy
  will may earn him the CHIEF MINISTER seat that he has indicated
  clearly in the movie. a clean spiritual, vibrant society will prevail
  in india if this happens. message are very clear. no room for corrupt
  people in the post, rajini pointed out very clearly. otherwise the
  dances, sex appeal of manisha, comedy delivery by goundamani added to
  balance the movie.
  
  movie goers pls go with a open mind. rajini is here to revitalise
  true spritualism for today's world which is soaked in womanising,
  adultery, bad company, smoking, drinking, name it.

  I got to listen to Baba finally. I liked it overall. Also saw the trailers on Sun TV as well as Lata's interview on Sunday. I'll get to watch the movie this Sun. Overall, I liked the album. The songs had a different style from the usual Rajini fare, but then tat's probably cos the storyline is diff as well. My mum who watched the movie in Spore said tat it was packed and even the sporean audience started clapping during some of the songs. From wat i've heard of the story, tis sounds diff from the usual rajini movie. Looking fwd to it. btw, did IK post any links abt the cinema owner who was kidnapped for showing Baba and the legal action by RK against the politician?
