arul,
nalla nerathale namba nayakam..
thalaivali oda musica..nan enna pavam paninen.
thank god, my score did not give the headache..
btw: my friends are correct...
it can be like this:
few of them have heard scores which are not given away in mp3, i give to them for private circulation, after this group say ok ...others get to hear it. Something like a Beta testing
believ me I have done this for all my score.
I select different people to analyze before making it public. this helps me a lot to grow.
:):)
Hear it clearly when time permits, i can wait:)

Hello Jay,
we are playing 50% Hindi filmi and 50% non-filmi like Junoon, Euphoria. Well, its fun to play best of both!!
BTW I have added kandukonden kandukonden I sequenced for this show. I have uploaded GM version (sounds good with my soundcard - might need remixing for other keyboard/cards).
If you want Triton SNG let me know. The song is at

Swamiji:
Kandukondein is good. have u used only triton factory patches in triton sng file format. I wish to hear the triton version because looks like u have compromised on the sounds with GM2 version. Upload the mp3 file extracted from triton sng file with triton sounds as u hear on triton - I am sure everybody enjoys this song the way it's sequenced. Very Good Job Swamiji - Swamiji Strikes Back:-))

Aditya

Swamiji:
Poove Sempoove is the best in ur MIDI collection. I am very impressed with ur playing of violin interludes. Note to Note, timing absolutely perfect in all respects. Hats off for this sequencing. This is what speaks about ur talent. Was it done on ur triton? Looks like u could identify the MIDI patches perfectly out of the box for the song.

Aditya

yup..poovE sempoovE is the best IMO as well. The midi sounds good even with the sound card in my Toshiba Tecra laptop. I noticed that the actual songs is 5:26 in duration whereas Swamiji's version is 5:40 and still Swamiji's version seems to have more 'rhythm and pace' than the original. I tried changing the bpm in n-track software and guessing the original might be atleast 10 bpm slower. If not, it must be my lack of musical sense :) and am probably getting misled because the instruments sound more 'raw' and 'upclose' (no reverb) than the original. Also, noticed that the 'rhythm' track is coming out with drums (I guess tabla is not standard in the soundbank) Anyways, though the original tabla is fantastic in the song the drums version is interesting. What a melody and pace and the concluding bit seems to be there to help you catch your breath !! Fantastic playing by Swamiji ..(May I know how long it took to finish all the 15 tracks ?)

Hello All,
Thanks for listening to the MIDI. Yes the sounds as I hear them with a different sound card is quite different from the way it sounds with the Triton. I can ask srikanth to record it with his gear and upload it on the web.
Poove Sempoove was done with Yamaha PSR620. Kandukonden was difficult because it wasnt just about the right notes, but the right feel for the instruments. Fretless Bass was done with Cakewalk style enhancer. You might notice it added modulation throughout this track which made it sound like the original. The ribbon slide control was extremely useful.
Kiru - it took 2 nights approx 8 hrs to sequence. The time that took wasnt for entering notes, but because of listening - re-listening!!
Yesterdays show was a grand success. We were able to bring people to come to their feet and dance. Almost the whole hall!! It was a lot of fun!
Thanks once again!!
