  WN clearly mentioned several times in the past in this thread that she (it is not a "he") wanted to listen to the actual CD and not to the real player songs before making any judgment about the songs because many subtle music pieces can be missed easily when listening to music on the net.   now....i really agree with u (i know thittu on the way...but had to say!)....as regards BABA film.....i loved it.....many ppl i feel wud not like the aanmeegam part.....some half an hour of it.....i just LOVED the film the second time i watched it.....mcuh more than i did the first time
  
  but i can tell u this much.....MOST ppl dont seem to like it.....even sathyam theater was only filled to 3/4 th capacity today....now....being a RK film,ithu konjam unusaul....afterall padayappa was housefull on its 150th day....intha padam innum 15days kooda aagala! :))

  Dei kaumudi or kabodhi, WN was scolding everybody when they said BABA songs are bad. How could she defend BABA songs without even listening to them.

  Muthu, go back and come up wit one sentence i uttered defending Baba album or condemned someone for his/her opinion. I was telling people like JJ off for 1)repeating himself a 100 times wit various names and numbers & 2)for condemning others for voicing their opinions & 3)for making fun of serious reviews by musically knowledgable ones. i'm not surprised tat ur bird-brain finds it difficult to digest such nuances of facts.

  Wat rajini has is outreach. He has the sort of fan base tat not many in tis world will ever get to enjoy in their lifetime. If he is making use of the reach to spread certain spiritual concepts, then tat is a positive thing. He has never claimed to be a perfect human (wat he may be in the movie is fictitious and most people wit average intelligence shud be able to realise tat). If he is a seeker, then tat itself is a good thing. U dont have to be perfect to be a seeker. Even while having many vices, if u search for the truth, ur on the spiritual journey. I guess most people wont realise tis as the layman's idea of spiritualism is to become vegetarian, leave ur family, grow a beard, don a yellow robe and roam into the woods. but tis is not the truth nor reality. Many in yellow robes may not be interested in seeking god and many who lead very ordinary lives may be closer to god than u think. The worst crime any man can commit is to judge another person's spirituality, no matter how evil they may seem in ur eyes. And deciding one is not interested in changing himself simply bcos he smokes or has bad company is a very naive way of thinking and reveals someone not very initiated on the concepts of spirituality. Spirituality is not an absolute. It is not a snapshot of wat u r at any particular moment. It is an ongoing process or a journey. Hence using a few criterion to make a judgement on someone's spirituality is a very narrow way of thinking.

  So I request all Baba detractors in this forum to enlighten yourselves by reading the treasure trove above
  
  ...like it or not, our country needs large doses of spirituality to counter the years of exploitation...like it or not...true spiritual stalwarts like Abdul Kalam and RK will come to the fore..and like it or not the film Baba is a step in the right direction...
