  Confusing constume from a totally confused man.
  
  Hindu, musilim, christian and a gun.
  Don't know what Thalaivar is upto this time.
  May be he wants to attract all religions.
  Its a long time since Rajni gave a nice action packed masala film without any political shades.
  
  Rajnis image is highly greased by the recent happenings.
  He tends to fight ramya krishnan on screen but sends flowers to jayalalitha.
  He hits all the bad guys but cant withstand Ramdass.
  When the entire film world united for Kavery water issue, he didn't want to go to neyveli just because he is scared of vanniyars.
  Is he confused or a coward? god knows.
  Even when his fans shed blood he just sits quiet.
  
  if he has to make people forget all this then he should better show himself as a actor and not as godfather of tamilnadu.
  Otherwise this film will surely FLOP.

  Rajni has been upset too much about the failure of Baba. He once said in an Aside interview, "people accuse me of big ego .etc. etc..but I will not get angry, because that is the change (in me)". The Rajni who spoke philosophy attracted me in the earlier years. Today, the much more older rajni is not living upto his words - the fight with PMK is so silly, that he has lost is credibility.
  Jaggu Bhai maybe okay title. But the outfit and gun reminds me of Osama. It is very, very iffy that this will be another hit. If he is so hell bent on having the last laugh, sometimes, he might just end up being a bitter old man.

  When you see leaders who want the blood of their 'thondars' for their own benefit [remember the theekkulippu and all] and when you are used to such behaviors in your way of life, then Rajini's concerns for his fans' safety can not be understood. i dont want to get into politics.
  Let's talk about the movie.
  When all the producers , actors and directors are concerned only about the way how to get their money back by spinning unbelievablestories and situations like Dhool, sami, gilli, kuththu arul etc, here is a man who wants to unite the people who are fighting under the name of religions. Is it wrong? of course, it is wrong in your views because you go to a movie for entertainment only. But, do understand that cinema ios a powerful medium and more benefits can be brought out by this than any other.
  I salute him for his courage.
  Hey, after all he has set a precedent.
  What if the movie is a flop?
  The distributors will get their money back! He has done it already!

  You didn't get it! i mean you didn't understand Baba. That was a believable story. It all depends on how you look at it.
  Everyone of us are gifted with boons from god. but, like the baba rajini in that story we waste our chances and finally get stranded on the crossroads with few options. Touch your hearts and say if you haven't eperienced it or not. May be you haven't because you may be young.
  Agree, it could have been taken better but for Rajini's insistence on secrecy and shooting the entire film in Campa-cola grounds fearing the publicity. But do not belittle Baba.

  All that's required out of Rajni is 3 fights, 5 songs, 10 punch dialogues, 3 mannerisms, some political stuff and a strong negative character as the villain. No one is going to be looking out for logic and stuff. Conveying this, through a masala film should never be a problem. The problem comes when Rajni wants to convey his spiritualism and stuff. If he had learnt it from Baba, this will definitely be a hit film. If not, sure flop. Spiritualism illadha story edutha kandippa odum, IMO.
  
  Having said this, today's Hindu gave me a shock. I commented yesterday, for fun, about "Shantha Shakkubhai". Today, I see The Hindu specifying it as a charcter in the film who spiritually influences Rajni(a terrorist). Nondhu poittaen!! Dhayava senju aanmeegam vaendaamada saami!!
  
  As for the script, K.S.Ravikumar is working on it too. So it's not fully Rajni's. That's just some hope left in me!

  And yeah, I've always wanted that too. Kamal in a guest role in Rajni's film and vice versa. It's a known fact that they won't do the film together. This would atleast be some consolation.

  The packaging has got to be right, if they can keep the audience glued that would be enough.
  if KSR tries to rebuild Rajnis Larger than life image i am sure he's gonna falter, i don't think he's a great screenplay writer.
  Muthu was horrible, Padayappa just tailor made for Rajni, his other hits AvaiSh... and Thenali were inspired from english flicks.
  This movie will test KSR's skills.

  Yeah. I based on the thing which I heard from my friend. He said Arul's the same old Dhool/Saami, but kandippa odum. Adhey basis-la sonnaen. Neways, Rajni padam vandha podhum-nu ennaipoal niraya paeru iruppanga!! :-) Nambikkaye vaazhkai! :-)
