Why IR is against VM ..?

In y'day's function at Chennai for Kalaignar,
IR sung(read) a self composed song 'thanE thanE
thanthaanE.. thannaith thamizukku thanthaanE''
Before reading some verses, he passed on some sharp
remarks indirectly against VM ..
Why this sudden anti-VM outbust..? and that too in a
public function..? (his brother GAmaran has been doing
this through magazines for quite some time)

VM was seen sitting in some 3rd row..with a deserted look
(usually he looks cheerful in Kalaignar functions)

God knows why such a great combo is still at loggerheads..
Hopefully B.raja or KB bring them together again.
9 out of 10 dances in that program were of ARR's..
(compered by GA and Oorvasi).. It must have been
shocking for IR to see that ARR's songs only are used
for all dances nowadays in any stage. Could be the reason
why Rajini chose ARR for Padaiyappa.

  I have always felt that the words "Indhiran thotathu munthiriyae, manmatha naatuku manthiriye" does not mean much except they ryhme well.
  
  Does anyone know any special significance of the Munthiri in Indhiran's thotam or about manmatha naatu manthiri?
  
  I feel the words "Indhiran maadathu sunthariyae, manmathan oothidum manthirame" would have been more apt. As you can see Indhiran supposedly has beautiful women like urvasi, meneka, rambha etc.. Also, manmathan's manthiram is common knowledge--hence I would not elaborate.

  IR is humility incarnate, absolute gnani, magnificiently magnanimous, gives priority to talent(except for bavatharini of course!). People who oppose him are worthless piece of crap, unfaithful dogs etc, etc. What else is left, guys??

  For one, you are thrusting words in others' mouths (or postings rather !). Secondly, why would you want others to oppose IR in the first place ? Why should anybody oppose IR ? Are you trying to set the balance straight here ? Are you trying to counter IR fans (and thereby maintain equality in DF) by talking ill of IR ?
  
  I really don't understand your intentions ! This is how I see it...there are some people who (justifiably or otherwise) are overwhelmed by IR and will even stoop to putting others down so that their idol might be seen in better light. Yes, undoubtedly this is unethical and juvenile. These people are driven by emotions and are reckless with their words. They are hot-headed, unruly and wild. That explains their behaviour (though it does not justify it).
  
  On the other hand, there are some people who attack and pass vile, unethical and equally juvenile comments against IR. If passion and immaturity drove the former kind to praise IR and criticize others, what drives your kind to criticize IR ? You are not driven by passion (by your own admission). You are fair and ethical and mature. What prompts you to criticize IR ? An eye for an eye ? I don't think so ! Then you couldn't be as mature, ethical or fair as you claim to be. If it is a war of words that you want, my ! my ! there is a lot of untapped potential in me ! I can match anyone here word for nasty word ! Take another long good look at yourselves. You are equally driven by passion, far worse than any HCIRF. Not one of you is a better person than a HCIRF. Atleast they have an original opinion about something. You only have an opinion against their's !
  
  Let's declare a truce here. Every IR fan who comes here invariably starts off as a HCIRF, because he/she is not aware of the protocols. They very often mistake this for a IR Fan club. Just go and check the postings - you'll come across postings like "Thank you IR, sir", "how are you, raaja sir" etc. Yeah, yeah, they are all 'deficient human beings who cannot understand English and are incapable of determining the attitudes and etiquette in the TFM DF'. These people are very often bludgeoned by your ilk into toning down their comments against ARR and others. Good, they'll learn their lessons. But not everyone will take it lying down. There are some HCIRFs who are bound to put up a fight. And listen well - THIS is what starts ARR Vs IR fights. What starts off as misguided appreciation initially is turned into a deliberate slanging match by your militant attitude towards HCIRFs. I know there will be others who'll refuse to believe that HCIRFs are genuiunely misled. These people are convinced that there is some mischief afoot by HCIRFs. They are sadly mistaken. Under other circumstances their behaviour would be termed paranoia. If you are serious about the quality of discussions in the the DF, let's stop this now.
  
  I suggest that we follow an unwritten rule that non-HCIRFs will not retaliate to acerbic remarks from HCIRFs (well, I guess, I just wrote it down :-)). There are a group of people who refuse to face reality and they will continue to pass such remarks once everywhile. But in general, I think people are smart enough to recognize when their comments are not in line with the rest in DF. We must have faith in the intelligence of these people. That is the only way the TFM DF community can grow peacefully.
  
  I was one of those HCIRFs when I first started posting in the DF. I am reasonable, logical, decent and polite. Yet, I passed as many derogatory remarks about ARR as the next guy. It is not a congenital flaw. It IS passion - and misguided at that. It CAN be corrected without adopting a lynch-mob attitude. Fortunately for me, I found some understanding souls in Udhaya, Kanchana, Srikanth and some others. Now, I only request more of you to be like that. It can only benefit the DF.
  
  OTOH, there are those like me who feel that life needs a little color ;-) They can ignore this posting !
