  they have confirmed it is HJ for now!
  
  LEts not start speculating it.
  
  I was not even reay to believe HJ was going to do this. But now credible reports have emerged and I guess it will be the same.
  
  I dont think ARR shud take this risk becos he has LOTR and BDreams broadway version up his shoulders.

  Finally after waiting for months for Aishwarya Rai to dole out dates, director Shankar has signed Sada to be the heroine for his next film Anniyan with Vikram in the lead.
  
  For Sada, a Pune based Bohra Muslim who was introduced by Director Teja in Telugu with Jayam it is the biggest break in her career. Sada also did the Tamil remake of Jayam with the same title which went on to be a big hit. And now she is the heroine of Srikanth in this week’s release Varnajaalam. Sada is also doing K.S.Ravikumar’s Aethiree opposite Madhavan.
  
  Shankar’s Anniyan will have the Puja on March 4 at AVM studio in Chennai. Vikram has given six months bulk dates for the film which will have P.C. Sreeram as the cameraman. Last month Shankar, music director Harris Jayaraj and lyricist Vairamuthu had gone to Phuket islands near Bangkok to compose three out of seven songs in the film. Oscar Ravichandran is the producer and the film is slated for Pongal 2005 release.
  
  Meanwhile Sada who is shooting for a Telugu film in Hyderabad said: “I have signed Shankarji’s film and it is a dream come true for me and that too, to be paired with superstar Vikram”.

  Ever since the media began opposing the film ‘Boys’, Shankar had been refusing to speak to either the press or the TV channels. Shankar had been scoring big with five consecutive hits. Then came his sixth release- ‘Boys’. Even before the film was released, the songs had become a big hit with the youngsters. This had increased the expectations about the film. But, the film changed everything around. The very lewd scenes had created intense opposition amidst the people and the film had a tough time with the Censor Board. Shankar meanwhile took off to a foreign country but is now very busy with Vikram on the new film ‘Anniyan’. However, he continues to refuse speaking to the Press. Shankar had given the film a veru serious name and the film is expected to be along the lines of his previous hits like ‘Gentleman’ and ‘Muthalvan’. A few days ago Shankar had gone to Bangkok along with Harris Jayaraj and Vairamuthu. He has selected some tunes and Vairamuthu is said to be busy writing lyrics for the

  Writer Sujatha, in his coloumn talks of Shankar's 'Anniyan'. He asserts that Shankar decision to move to Harris Jeyaraj doesnt mean that Shankar and ARR are at loggerheads. Its just that both of them couldnt sort their respective time schedules to make time for each other.

  Boys i dont think was a loss of money im sure Ratnam broke even at least.Cuz people enjoyed that movie just didnt go many times over.If u look at the dvd sales of boys ull see.My bro was in london and i asked him to pick up boys dvd cuz it released a few days ago and they were sold out of the dvd already.
  
  He moved away from ARR this time cuz shankar needs a quick fix to his "flop" it flopped cuz too much hype, it was a good movie if u werent lookin for family entertainment.but more of a teenage+ comedy.ANd since ARR is busy he went with HJ
  
  i think he chose HJ outta all d other MD's is cuz his name sells now cuz ppl r dumb.

  After Boys Shankar is coming out with yet another bilingual film, Aparichitudu, with Vikram and Sada in the lead. The film which is to be launched on March 4th in Chennai has Vikram donning triple role. Harris Jayaraj scores the music. Peter Hayens is the stunt master.
