  I expect Shankar to ruin this film. This will be a sfx intensive film, and Shankar's films have usually had subpar sfx. Not only that, but he'll introduce unnecessary melodrama and kanneer scenes, which was what killed Boys for me.
  
  I hear Harry Baweja was also planning a similar futuristic film in Hindi.

  probably shankar going is going to copy a english movie.. to copy english movie indian cenima dont have the technology and the scense are not going to be realistic. probably going to be a flop.

  okay i think the story is like this..
  shankar use all his video tech.. and all to introduce vikram. vikram meddles his computer, types some Dos commands, suddenlly hi is brought into a world of robot in Chennai and the original stays outside the computer world. Then come Robot Aishwarya and normal Preity Zinta and vice-versa. Aish is friend in robot and lover in real life. Then the robots dance "loading... Kalyanam .exe than:// kattikkittu odi.polam.a.com Then file corrupt... Then vikramc comes back to life. Both vikram cant meet,so one of it melts. Then vikram sing "Kalyaanamthan reprise with Aish!

  I feel the story may resemble Jet Li's "The One".Instead of one Jet Li from the other planet it could be Robot with AI.With two Vikrams fighting in the climax.....

  The One have some logic inconsistentcy..
  it says that whenevr one jet Li dies, all the other will share his power...
  
  but the most furios fight came at the end when only 2 Jet Li's left, but by right, all the Jet Li's fight should be furios, coz at anytime they all have the same power...rite?

  Is Aishwarya Rai the heroine in Shankar’s untitled new film with Vikram as the hero? Well this is the rumour in town and when Sify.com contacted Vikram, he refused to deny or comment. He just smiled!
  Shankar was on the lookout for a heroine for his film, which is a futuristic thriller, to be paired opposite the current superstar Vikram. Names like Trisha Krishnan, Katrina Kaif and some Mumbai heroines were considered. But right from the beginning, Shankar was keen only on Ash, as he had shared a good rapport with her during the making of Jeans.
  
  Aishwarya Rai had been voted as the most attractive woman in an international online poll conducted by “Hello” magazine. And so it is but natural that all heroes in Telugu and Tamil want to be featured opposite her. The big buzz is that, Ash has agreed to sign the dotted line for this film produced by “Oscar” Ravichandran.
  
  Ash was in the news recently when she walked out of Ketan Mehta’s Aamir Khan film The Rising over payment fracas and from a Bond movie as she refused to do kissing scenes with Pierce Brosnan. Now Shankar is said to be offering Ash a whopping salary anywhere between Rs 1.5 to 2 crore, the highest salary ever paid to a heroine in Indian cinema! She was only offered Rs 80 lakh for the “The Rising” and in Hollywood they would not pay her more than $200,000!
  
  The grapevine also says that a photo shoot of Vikram and Ash will be done in Mumbai later in the month. Till then Vikram, the smart man that he is, does not want to go public on this as there may be many a slip between the cup and the lip!

  Shankar to direct Chiru's son? Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja is all set to get launched this year. Under the banner of Geetha Arts, Shankar is likely to direct this venture. V V Vinayak was yet another director considered for the film. P C Sreeram will be the cinematographer. Ram Charan Teja will also debut as a singer in this film.   ARR/Shankar combo is always something to look forward to music wise - though I have never been a big Shankar fan.
  
  Shankar brings out a unique experimental side in ARR. All of their albums together have been very different, trend setting albums - starting with Gentleman.
  
  If it's HJ, I hope Shankar can work the same magic with him
