Harish Raghavandra OR T K Karthik-Who is shining in TFM

It has been seen that singers Harish Raghavendra and Karthik are both upcoming singers and both have a reached great heights at a very early stage of their career.

The year 2001 did a lot for Harish Raghavendra, while last year 2002 did a lot for T K Karthik. Though Karthik's career began in 2001, he was the most sought singers in 2002. T K Karthik had 27 songs to his credit last year and I am not sure about Harish Raghavendra.

Karthik has worked with all the music directors in Tamil and Telugu; like A R Rahman, Harris Jayaraj, Deva, Bharadwaj, Vidhyasagar, Mani Sharma, Parasuram Radha, D Immaan, M M Kreem, Yuvan Shankar Raaja, Ilayaraaja, Karthik Raaja, S A Rajkumar and many many more and has also sung in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and also two songs in Hindi for A R Rahman.
(Remember that Asha Bhonsle song in Saathiya and one in The Legend of Bhagat Singh). Karthik has reached great heights.

Harish Raghavendra has not worked with A R Rahman and Deva and also many more music directors. But he is also very good and I like both the singers very well.

Who will excell this year?

  HR is definitely a tamilian and has the credit of writing down tamil songs in tamil.He can even write poems in tamil

  HR is really a good singer and he proved it with songs like nirpadhuvae nadapadhuvae and azhagiya theeyae from minnale and so many more hits.Karthik is a very good singer too.These guys have varying ranges and depth and the rendering.Both these guys are good in tamil prounounciation but i would give harish 100 percent on this aspect.
  Karthik sings more songs than HR but HR sings few songs but they go on to become bigger hits eg Sakkrai nilave from the film youth

  Karthik is a better option to harish Raghavendra.
  
  Karthik has got many right oppurtunities, and is using them well.
  
  In Karthik only, I could see the versatility of voices, after the ingenial SPB.His voice for "Maya Maya", "vada Machaan", "Aadatha Aatemellam","Adicha Netti Adi" and "Adhi Uzhaga Azhagiye" are really contrasting and all the same loveable
  
  I cannot vouch strongly for Harish Raghavendra though he is a good singer

  Harish Raghavendra has better clarity and higher range than Karthik whose voice and delivery sounds muffled and also cold affected.Both their tamil dictions are good though. Karthiks success was just based on ARR's push and BABA whereas HR achieved without a single song from ARR.Full credits to him.HR should sing more songs to satisfy the quantity minded audiences

  They both are shining in their own way.Karthik has more quantity though but HR stands out in spite of singing lesser number of songs.They have unique voices and styles.Hats off to these youngsters
