New Page for Rare Hits of Ilayaraaja

I have put up a new webpage with rare hits collection of Maestro Ilayaraaja. I will try to put those songs that are either not commonly found nor available in other TFM pages. Please visit:

  Following a few complaints with regards to non-availability of the two songs - IVAL YARO from RAAJAVIN PAARVAYILE and MELLA MELLA from VAAZHKAI, those two songs are transferred to a less traffic server. Therefore these songs are available without any hitch.

  Thanks again for your immeasurable service to Tamil film music lovers. Two observations:
  
  One is that the recent additions are not rare hits. A few were mega hits, like Uravenum Pudiya Vaanil, etc.. I think.
  
  Second, since you got some mal songs of IR, it is a great thing. You will have to change the header to Rare South Indian film songs of IR. Why I am saying is I want to send you Pallavi Anu Pallavi, 3 superb songs. Please don't think of the Tamil versions in Priya O' Priya. The singing cannot be compared to SPB' and SJ in the original kannada movie. So, I will be glad to send you the 3 songs too.
  
  Meanwhile, thanks again. Man, Vaazhkai song is amazing. Devadhai Illam Devi is an eeries 200th film song of IR. The Susheel song of the same movie has beautiful guitar interludes.

  Hi guys........The most sought songs......fans right from UK to Singapore.....are you there???? Songs from AMMAN KOYIL KIZHAKAALE are uploaded and are available right now!! Sorry that it took some time, because it was a pain working on the sound effects for these songs. Hope there will be no noise and you all will enjoy it.
  
  I will upload my `special' song for the TFM fans from the film Enrum Anbudan by tomorrow morning.

  Tic., Tic., TIc - film-la 2 songs irukku., what about 'Poo nadamida., ' by KJY & Jency., Its a very good classical music based song with KJY's excellent voice.
  another Jency song i would like to add to my list is 'Mayilee mayilee., un thokai enge., ' (with SPB ) from film 'Kadavul amaiththu vaiththa medai'., A very good song.., Jency sings like a KUZANTHAI Which is great. God., ! how much i miss this voice !
  My other requests are
  * 'Siruponmani asaiyum.,' by IR & SJ from 'Kallukkul eeram' - excellent song with good lyrics by Gangai amaran.,
  * 'Yamunai aatrile' from "Thalapathy" by mithali.

  Nithin: Nk was a big hit in its time alright. But why I asked it was it is rare to find in the net. Infact I never found it anywhere on the web. In that sense, they are rare .   "Idhaya mazhaiyil......." is from AALUKKORU AASAI.
  
  The male voice in "Un paarvaiyil......" in AMMAN KOYIL KIZHAKKAALEI is KJY, not Jayachandran.
  
  Hope to see EERA VIZHI KAAVIYAM songs posted soon!

  Most of the songs that you have mentioned in the previous query are available at Ramaswamy Gireesan's page as well as in Mailbag. If the links are not working, I have no problems in uploading the same. I am just prioritizing the songs to reduce redundancy as much as possible in the early stages. But once sufficient number of `rarest of the rare' songs are uploaded, we can include other songs too for the sake of getting a sense of completion for Raaja hits. But Raaja fans' satisfaction is my primary goal. So I have no problems in uploading the songs you have mentioned. They should be up soon.

  Guys, I was waiting for one of you to request this ALL-TIME favorite of mine: Kaalidasan Kannadasan from Soorakottai Singakutti. I am sure this song has a great fan backing in TFM. I particularly like this song for the IInd BGM where a carnatic humming would fuse with the song in a very natural way....that is Raaja's way....

  2) "Munnam Seitha Thavam" from same movie

  4) "Enna Varam Vendum" - "Nandhavanatheru"
  5) "Kaadhal ennum theevil" - Kazhugu(or Garjanai?)

  I know you are busy but would you please load
  'Oru Kunguma Chengamalam' for me. I am eagerly waiting for it.
  
  Also do you remember the song (not a big hit) from 'netri kan'. The songs 'mamanaukku' and 'ramanin moganam' were hits, but this one has a small piece of violin interlude in it. The scene goes like rajini seducing the lady from whom he learns violin or something.

  The songs you are referring to in Netrikan are not currently available with me. I am planning to upload the Raamanin Mohanam song shortly. However, I will try to get these songs from my friend.
  The song:Poomedaiyo Ponveenaiyo is a great song and is not available with me currently. I will try to get this too.
  Whatever songs I am not having right now, I will try to get them from other sources and will try to upload them ASAP. As a bonus to Ramesh, you can expect "Oru Kunguma Sengamalam" by tomorrow.
