  IIR is in US and the English version of TiS solo and chorus[36 singers] recordings will be done this afternoon at the Sony Studios!!
  KR is also here with him.

  I have the same question. If this is true, it is a good new. Sony will promote it very well. I hope IIR and the Father made a good deal with Sony. I hate to see the Father in debt forever because of this project.

  Dear Adhi: I have had the great pleasure this week of hearing some of the recording of Ilayaraaja's wonderful new work. He is in New York City working on finishing the album, and I was able to be there when some of the vocals were being recorded. I think it is going to be an amazing piece, blending ancient Tamil poetry and contemporary English texts, Western music and Indian music, and superb singing. I became very excited about it and very proud to be a part of it.

  what will surprise is the fact that a composer who does not like to spend more than half a day from composing to recording a song is taking so much effort to work with so many different and difficult to handle variables, such as on different continents - asia, europe, usa, for working with song writers in differnet languages, orchestras, mixing experts, singers, chorus groups in different languages, then financing teams, press appearances, and then meeting statemen like President Kalaam.
  
  it is a highly difficult effort is not an understatement. for this fact alone, i think this whole TiS and TamilMaiyyam is to be congratulated. And, as fans we are all reinforced with one important virtue - be patient and be supportive. Also signifies one thing we see great joy in seeing different people come together for a good cause.

  Since the Product is @ the verge of completion, the most important thing to worry about is Piracy. If everyone pays their money to get the CD, instead of copying from friends and neighbours, Project of these kinds would happen quite often. The commercial success of this product would encourage the big companies to involve the composer in many more projects like this.
  
  Piracy cannot be won with Laws and regulations. Everyone (especialy Fans) should take a oath to not let their copies copied to others.

  As Nagarajan has mentioned, Fans please make every effort to fight piracy and buy original CDs, these is going to be a treasure in Tamil Music and literature, and we have the responsibilties to pay the right respect.
