Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy can be brought to TFM

Remember the Music Director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the music directors of Kamal Hassan's Alavandhaan. They seem to be missing in the Tamil scene for the last 2 years and they are doing really good in the Hindi field. They have given solid musical hits in Hindi such as; Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahtha Hai. I think they can be brought to the Tamil films again. I feel they are definitely better than Deva and a few others. I think they are the best as far as Hindi Film Music goes after A R Rahman.

I would like healthy comments who listen to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and have a fair knowledge of Hindi Film Industry.

  Shankar Ehsaan Loy really sucks big time...they prefers to give musics for non-actors/stars like Abhishek and Saif Ali Khan and they dont give musics for big stars like Big B,Salman Khan or Akshay Kumar...its only in recent that they have given music for a Shahrukh film even that is a big dissapointment..nobody gives damn to there sucking music!!...

  one cant blame upcoming MDs for associating with smalltime actors or nondescrept flims.let us remember Laxmi-Pyare started with an obscure mythological Parasmani and ended up giving music to all top producers like rajkapoor,subash ghai etc.incidentally, can anyone clarify if the melodious song "chupkesesun" in Mission Kashmir was tuned by Anu malik while other songs were by this trio ?

  Hi Werco Shankar is a brilliant musician period !!!!
  He is a very good singer and he plays keyboards and percussion and our music composition speaks for itself. People like John McLaughlin have praised Shankar to no end after his current tour with Shakti. Shakti showcases some of the highest levels of musicianship and Shankar singing with them must mean something.
  We are comfortable with composing any kind of song but I must admit that ballads are great fun to compose and produce.

  I'm sure it's possible to dicuss on a technical base and with less emotions and surely without abusing people!
  
  I suggest to open new threads, like "Will SEL ever compose for Kumar Sanu?" or "SEL sucks!!!"

  I am back. Remember I am from USA. A qustion why you select a particular singer who looks gay and sings like a GIRL? When you have macho singers like UDIT NARAYAN, ABHIJIT, KUMAR SANU, SHAAN why you gave him!! a chance? Is it becuase of Karan Johars request. LOL :)

  How was it composing for Kamal Hassan?
  He is known for his interference and bossing around.....
  Frankly, have you ever felt, after listening to the final product of your composition, that you could have composed a much better song or that you have not really done proper justice to the song???
