Praise, not criticise DEVA!

Read this interview with Deva, where he has been called to answer several accusations, some like from this very forum. :-))

  and many more why can't we praise in this category of songs I think he deserve it . I am not a musician but a tfm lover. Love to listen to ganna songs very much. As we know Deva Sar do copy but why don't we enjoy it after all its music. Maybe those people who don't know english and unable to enjoy the songs of Reggae KIng Bob Marley its is a bonus for them.

  one should appreciate Deva sir for making ( or remaking?) music for larger crowd than few elites who has access to all kinds of music.
  sollunga sir indha kalathile yar thaan copy adikalai.!
  For the 80 to 90 % of the people this music is still new.so, if we cant praise him atleast we will not criticise him. However, we can continue to probe into his music to find the origin for academic interest.

  Friends, podumpaa. Deva sir deva sir taan.
  May be being inspired is his style, it is not proper to criticise somuch for that. In his way, he's made to the stardom. I believe TFM discussion form should be used in the right way rather than just teasing and criticising one individual. It is high time for this topic to be stopped.

  in a walt disney comic strip
  or some MD somewhere around
  the world. Deva has a massive
  collection of tunes and music that he can give such fantastic pieces for another two

  deva vaazhga!!! he is a new hi-funda concept in TFM. he is similar to the T-series brand in hindi cassette world. he is opening a paamaran's eyes to the world of music, "deriving" inspiration, and using "eclectic" ways to create music. otherwise , can a pattikaattaaan hear buffalo soldier, or khaled? deva has generated much hope for film producers, who otherwise would have to sit in queue in front of ARR's house, as it happens in front of US consulate in madras. deva was initially with chandra bose , but has left him far behind. chandra bose has to be content with AVM's tv serials. deva has make composing a science, and can establish an assembly line , too!!

  hmm..I see Deva always wearing vibhuti/pottu. I guess belief in god/bhakti has nothing to do with honesty in one's profession !!! I should know better. Even some of my relatives/family friends accept bribes and that did not deter them from celebrating all the festivals, going to temple :-) :-) Probably they pay the temples a cut which cleans their conscience (hmm....now I know where that generosity comes from :-) )

  Deva can be given a new name "Canon Xerox".But the fact remains that Deva's Gaanas are the reason why many of his films run in many B-grade ,C-Grade centres(I have seen the mass explode when Deva's gana comes to the screen in a village.)Bitto copyo avar vealiya katchidhama mudikkiraru.Kudos to his time saving work.He is the living encyclopaedia of TFM,HFM and all the FM's.

  Deva may do all this copying for money's sake.
  But the truth is that he is also very capable of
  giving some original good stuff. Can someone
  recall the positive comments made by Subbudu about
  Deva a few years ago on SUN TV? Last month's India
  Today reports that the famous producer/director
  of Shankarabharanam movie in Telegu has decided
  to make another Carnatic Music based movie and
  has specially requested Deva to develop a few

  Geetha, Ramki : That Iniyavae song "Thendral Vandhu Nadayai..." is the same tune of "Ammammamma saranam saranam madiyin mele..." from the film Sendhoorapaandi. He copied his own tune.
  
  Deva Fans : Deva has even copied the tunes of the devotional songs like "Sashtiyai nokka..." from Kandha Sashti Kavasam. If this work continues, tomorrow he will even copy the "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star....." and "Rain Rain go away....." tunes. I always welcome from him songs like "Engenge Engenge..." from Nerukku Ner. He has given some good songs. But overall he is getting 20 out of 100 marks.
  
  Who asked deva to sing a song yaar? It's totally unbearable. TFM fans mela Devavukku karunaiye illaiya? My dear Deva fans, why don't you suggest your Mr.Deva to stop singing. Ask him to give good songs. Not copied songs from other music directors or from english albums.
