  One's mind travels way ahead of one can physically. We can be here and still may travel way ahead to various places thru our minds. To such a FORCE who controls the mind which leads us to all the troubles we face, I offer my salutations at HIS feet
  I offer sautations at the feet of HIM who is the destroyer of my births.
  From the previous mails in this thread, we learned how we react one way or the other to the various comments. But, HE is the one who offers compassion even to those who abuses HIM. To HIS feet I offer my salutations.
  Note: Hereby, HE teaches us to show compassion to those who write negatively in this thread!
  Last week, when we met with IIR and offered our salutations to him, more than he, we felt happier! Similarly, when we offer our respect to the ULTIMATE with our folded hands, we feel happy. At HIS FEET, we offer our salutations.
  When we fold our hands in respect, still, we are on one-on-one basis only. But, when we bow our heads at HIS feet, it becomes now HIS responsibility to lift us up! To such a FORCE, who can lift us up, I offer my salutations.

  Isaignani returned from Hyderabad yesterday. In fact just after arriving from the US he immediately took flight to Hyderabad to work for a Telugu movie. I am amazed at his stamina to cope up.
  
  He was profusely happy and thankful to Dr.Shankar Kumar, Sridhar Seetharaman and Anandh Govindan. He was particularly impressed with the hospitality extended by Anandh Govindan.In fact in my last 18 months of association with him I have never seen him so generously thanking anyone as he thanked you. He also complimented me telling: " How did you manage to put together such a good team?". I told him that I did nothing and it all happened because of the will of God and your music.
  
  When the Maestro himself thanks you so profoundly, I feel inadequate to do the same. However it is my duty to register my sincere thanks on behalf of the TIS team here. For all your good work you will be publicly recognized and honored during the Release events both in the US and India.
  
  I understand that during his stay it was promised that another dinner meeting(s) could be arranged in the third week of February so that we can mobilize the needed money for the last phase of the project. He also told me that he is ready to travel on Feb 23. I would like to have clear advise from you right away so that I can book the ticket well in advance and for a better prize.
  
  I must remind you that we fixed the Release date to be April 14 , only after and basing on an assurance given by you that the US team will mobilize and make available a minimum of $100000.00 before February end. As I work still harder on this front here, I have put complete trust in your assurance and pledge.
  
  Mr.Socrates is in Chennai now. He has enormous influence over FETNA. He has promised to place the FETNA contacts at our disposal. He will talk to Mr.Sivraman, the FETNA president about and do the needful.
  
  We should also begin preparations for the Release events in earnest. You will agree that it takes a minimum of three months of preparation to organize any decent event in the US.
  
  Mr.Gocha from the Bay Area is actively in touch with me. I would like Sridhar Bala to take the initiative to form a broader working group JUST to organize the Release event.

  A small Suggestion.
  Maniratnam, Kamal Hasan, Vijaykanth, Balachandar will all be quite happy to contribute for the project as they all are hardcore Illayaraja fans. Why cant they be approched for some quick contributions?

  Stephen Schwartz' involvement is explained in detail in the write up on IIR's recent USA visit . He is the one translating the selected Thiruvasakam verses for the symphony.
  BTW, here is a request. There may be a lot of University students browsing this thread. We appeal to all of them to find out if there is any international University grants available in your university for TiS on the basis of promoting international culture, music, literature faculties. If so, pl. let us know asap with contact details. We will follow up with the leads. You may also find out any other grant proposals with private organizations as well. You all can help in different ways to make this happen. Thanks.
  Also, pl. let us know immediately if you will be interested in hosting IIR at your place for fund-raising purposes by Feb end.
