Harris, May be u should check to reconfirm your statement

Both Tamilcinema.com and musicindiaonline.com list only movies that are released.
Raaga, on the other hand rates songs by request count (and included unreleased movies' songs)
IMO, comparing these two isn't fair.

BT..What I intend to say was there is now way to determine top 10. If you have own website you can put any junk on top.
For example, Boys rank 9th in the Sun TV top 10 list, which is mostly seen more than any website. They have their own way of counting
http://www.sunnt.com/suntv/super10/
If you want based on hits go to
http://www.dinakaran.co.in/cinema/asp/songs.asp?Pollvalue=3&submit=Submit&Text_File=c%3A%5Cwww%5Cdinakaran_co_in%5Ccinema%5Ctext%5Csongs.txt+&M_Both=Vot
Boys is way below.
So stop arguing based on these craps.

hi fliflo,
it is funny u mentioned Sun Tv top 10..I no longer believe in it after the pithamagan controversy....
but why suddenly talk about Boys...The Boys audio was released months ago! So it is unfair to compare it with present films

You are still not getting my point. Leaving out the movies, I am saying that none of them represent true ranking.
regarding Boys, if you rely on Dinakarn voting it never got more than 100 votings. How do you defend that?

Fliflo,
I never went into the details of how web-sites do their statistics. My point was, KKS is still an unreleased movie. The websites you pointed out talk only about movies that are released. So, saying "KKS is not featured in those websites" is not fair because they don't even consider unreleased movies in their count-down.
Anyways... I think we've deviated too far from the topic at hand. I'll stop for now.

Guys,
"Ennuyir Thozihye" what a great song? While IR proves his melody with simple orchestration in Onna vida, ARR proves his melody with grand orchestration.
Cindrella is also good. Other songs are not my cup of tea.

Guys,
Is this movie set for typical Bharathi Raaja's Village picturization? Hopefully not.
None of the songs are sounding for a village picturisation? Two songs are good, but will not suit village picturisation. Any info. guys.

Anbe Sivam,
No this one is in an urban setting.
"Taking a break from his rustic ambience, director Bharatiraja ventures into the urban milieu of love, crime and passion. It centers round a youth who falls in love, and is obsessed by it. Bharatiraja has taken two fresh faces. Vaseegara (alias Fazil) and Priyamani. The latter has modelled for various saree companies, and though this is her first film in Tamil, she has acted in a Telugu film earlier."

As for the music, the album is great. After the first listening liked 'Anarkali' best, the rest didn't stick. After listening a few more times 'Thee Kuriviyai' & 'En Uyir Thozhiyea' also standout. 'Aha Thamizhamma' and 'Azhagiya Cinderella' bring up the rear, but they are good too. No bad songs in this one. An album worthy of anyone's collection.

I had waited for a review on Kangalal Kaithu Sei.But Iam not able to find any. Come on friends please give opinion on all the songs. Any how this is my attempt after KV,Parasuram,BOYS,E20U18.Here goes my review.
INTRODUCTION:
The album starts with the usual BR style “Enn Inniya Tamil”.This track has the backing of synthesized old song”Senthamizh Naddennum Pothinilay”.Only the music part comes. This part is the main music in the next song.Nothing spectacular –a usual introduction.
1)AGA TAMILAMMA:
This song caters to the audience who like songs of the genre”Eye Eye Enna Aachu Unnaku”in KV.As usual the song starts of with strange word ,I don’t know which language it is.The music is good with some good synthesized bass pieces. The song is OK and now and then a voice pops out saying some tamil letters.Quite interesting and all depends upon picturization of the song.Innovative song.
Rating:7/10
2)ANNAARKALI:
This is the pick of the album. Superb song and captivating music. Again this combination of Karthik and ARR had produced this haunting melody. The song starts of in a Sufi style/Hindustani style and progresses in a beautiful note.I think ARR has to give more melodies like this. The bass, the tabla are all scintillating .If you could enjoy the song “Kannalane”from Bombay---- ARR sings in the middle of that song.A similar feel here. An excellent song.
Rating:9.5/10
3)AZHAGIYA CINDRELLA:
Another good song from this album.Hariharan after KM.Good music and song well rendered by him. This song has a haunting tune and sure to top the charts. This song though starts of excellently after some time becomes repitive and only the music carries this song from second half.
Rating:8/10
4)ENNUYIR THOZI:
Beautiful song composed by ARR.Again after E20U18 the Unni Mennon –Chinmayee combination had worked wonders.Beautiful piano pieces and violins make a mark.Infact this song starts of with a beautiful piano piece(played by Rahman???).Good bass guitar and innovative flute make this song a pleasant hearing.
Rating:9.5/10
5)THEEKURUVI:
This song is also melodious and has some strange lyrics. Not able to spot out the words properly because the words are pronounced very fast but the song is beautifully rendered by Harini. The classical base in this song makes this song beautiful and the tempo is maintained from the first line till the end.The finishing touches by Harini reminds me of the beautiful singing of Hariharan in” Colonial Cousins”album.A very good song.
Rating:8.5/10
A very good album indeed after E20U18.Here this album mainly contains the melodious numbers barring “Aaha Tamilamma”Who knows this song will become a hit.ARR’s Hindustani/Sufi influence is evident from the song”Annaarkali”.
This album is better than Boys and E20U18.
