done song.. written by Kannadhasan. Earlier I
had also mentioned about 'thAi thandha pizhzhaiyilE'
song.. which is a "desperation" song. Kavinjar
had nicely borrowed ideas from pattinaththAr
in that song.

I don't have any song from 'pAttum bharadhamum'.
'kaRpanaikku mEnithandhu' kEttu romba nALAchchu!

I have now made a much better encoding of paduththAl

PPP-RA update..

I have started a section called

My site's nEyar viruppam is of a very limited kind.
I get many emails requesting for specific songs.. but I
usually I find that I don't have most of them in my
collection. Whatever I have.. I plan to upload
them in that 'nEyar viruppam' page.

I don't have the 'sammadhamA' song that you asked
for. :-(
Instead, shall I upload some other Bhanumathi song for you..
say nilA nilA Odi vA from 'chaNdi rANi'

engE thuvanguvathu endrE theriyavillai. Picking randomly, I chose the Bharathiyar collection. I was hoping to see MLV and T.L.Sundaram (hope I got the name right) version of chinnan jirum kiLiyE. I don't know if you can manage to get hold of it.

I was looking for kAkkai siraginilE nandalAlA and found it in the APN collection. There is also KJY version of this song which sounds different but equally good. I remember that it was a recent movie with Raghuvaran in it.

Thanks for the collection. More about your other collections later.

Karthi, sammathamaaa....is from Nadodi Mannan, composed by SM Subbiah Naidu. The MD for 'TPT' is KVM. Please furnish the proper details when you request for a song in future.

Bharathiyar songs. KJY's version of 'kAkkai
siRaginilE' was in that movie.

Thanks for that wonderful collection and lovely title. After a long we had a chance to hear all those beautiful songs. It starts with bharathi's two lines but kannadasan song :)

Engiruntho vanthan(sg), kAkkai chiRakinilE(sulamangalam?), sindhu nadhiyin misai(tms + shivaji = bharathi kambeeram), Nallathor veenai, theertha karaiyinilE(with spb urukkam), kattru veliyidai, veLLI pani malaiyin .. I like everything but not the last one(pappa pAttu). I dont know why did you include that extra luggage here:-) Also lemme ask you to include songs from Ezhavathu manithan, sindu bhairavi,neethikku thandanai and if possible IR's Bharathi also:-) Bharati pAttil pazhasenna puthusenna ?

fit in. (That's why I just separately put it at
