  Srikanth, can I have your comments on the song "En vaanathil aayiram veLLi nilavu" from kaaviyath thalaivi? I find myself entering a different world whenever I hear that song...
  
  SL, thanks for asking for 'Varavendum Oru Pozhudhu'. I listened to this again because the version which I have in one of my cassettes is not very clear and was again awestruck!
  
  SK, can you find and upload this song from the film EngaL Selvi: Sollathaan NinaikkirEn Mudiyavillai? I just don't know why this song so....touches my soul!

  As I said, I just don't know why I like that song so much! It's even been mentioned by Vaamanan in his 'Thiraiyulaga SaadhanaiyaaLargaL' serial in Cinema Express, in the section for P Suseela. I have heard this song so many times in AIR, not sure if it's a hit song, but it's certainly a very good song. The violin interludes are so soft and the lyrics are so down to earth and the heart filling 'bAse' (bass-aa? base-aa?) voice of PS. A sample of the lyrics:

  I will hear aadai muzhudhum again...I have it now with me...but the initial humming is missing in my version.

  Songs from AP Nagarajan - KV Mahadevan Combination
  where I have put all songs from thiruviLaiyAdal,
  thiruvarutchelvar and thillAnA mOhanAmbAL
  (including nAdhaswaram pieces of MPN brothers).
  I will add songs from movies such as

  by the way there is one shot in Thiruvilayadal wherein Sivaji acts as a fisherman and whenever he walks strangely (sort of limping nadai) KVM will give a nice BGM for that.unga karuthu enna?

  Yes I do remember that distinct bgm of kvm for
  that (supposedly) stylish walk by Sivaji. I
  remember those days Sivaji fans used to be
  absolutely thrilled seeing that 'Sivaji walk'
  in the beach.

  I would like to request for "AdhiParaSakhthi" songs. In particular, the songs "Alahaha Kannukku Alahaha Karpaha Cholai Kanni Vandhal..." by P.Susheela and "Solladi Abhirami Vani sudar varumo enakku idar varumo..." by TMS are haunting melodies.

  azhagAga, kaNNukku azhagAga is by Janaki.
  BTW, that movie was directed by KSG. The songs were

  Thanks. It is indeed by SJ. What a sweet song by SJ?. I think, in those days, Adhiparasakthi, Saraswathi Sapadham, Thiruvilaiyadal, were very famous and very much appreciated by people.
