Guys,

7GRC's preview is coming on tv channels now. Yuvan has come up with a different theme music this time. Any thoughts?

  Atleast "The Hindu" came up with a good review intimes where all movie reviewers including the ones shown in TVs just encourage these kind of bullish movies.Be it a good one or not, they simply put it into no:1 spot..also some poeple ask the dirctor himself to tell abt the movie..(who will tell that his movie is bad)
  Except the music, there is nothing good in the movie.
  Film makers these days think that they are showing reality..but that is not at all correct.They just exaggerate the issues to create ripples in young hearts.

  Thoo.Who cares about Reviews like Hindu. It is not a generaic review. IT is Malathi's review. By the way who cares about her. She wantedly gives stupid reviews many times.

  Reviews should be bashings /appreciating only sections of a movie, rather than the movie itself..
  
  Madan does a decent job in Vijay TV I believe. Like for Madurae, he did say that if at all the mvie will run, Vijay should take credit..
  
  I didn't see his review on 7G, But I heard that he was pleased.

  The movie new states in the startup itself that its full of fun and a thing which wont happen in real time. where as 7grbc is showing garbage as gopuram.the technical aspect of 7g is good but the story and the way he handled it post interval is absolutely bad.

  Yuvan Shankar Raja, Ilayaraja's younger son, has already been caught lifting from his dad's rich repertoire (Film: Bala, check out Yuvan's page). So its a surprise that he chose to lift again. This time its a small snatch from his dad's path breaking score for the 1980 Rajnikant film, 'Johnny'. Yuvan lifts a piece directly, from the background music being played in the climax of Johnny - for his theme score for the just-released Tamil film, '7G Rainbow Colony'. Its a pity actually, because the piece lifted is really very small in terms of duration (but very significant) and as a whole, this theme music is, in one word, magical! If only Yuvan had been honest about his inspiration and added a note against this track, it would have elevated his status to new heights. Getting inspired from a composer of Ilayaraja's stature is inevitable, but if the inspiration is minimal and given the fact that Yuvan has worked so hard to create such a beautiful piece, the lack of a proper credit sticks out as a sore thumb!

  Truth,
  
  True Yuvan could have given the credit to the great composer IR.
  
  However, going by the same rules, ARR should have given credit to IR for a interlude chorus in "Kannum Kannuk Kollai Adithaal" song in Thiruda Thiruda. Did he do that? Original Song is from Kaithiyin Dairi "Ponn Maane". It also has the same Chorus interlude. It comes before "Paravaigal" line in "Kannum Kannuk Kollai Adithaal" song and comes before "kaaval Kaathavan Kaithiyaai Nirkirren" line of "Ponn Maane" song.

  First of all the 7G/RC and Johny compariosn is too harsh.
  
  When I first saw the 7G trailer I myself knew that it resembled johnny. This was even before i2fs posted it. However I doubt Yuvan made an "intentional" effort to listen to Johnny BGM and "use" the same tune to compose 7G.
  
  There is a lot of variation after the first three notes. If Yuvan continues doing such things without vcrediting my respect for him will still be unaltered because the poor kid s not really cheating.
  
  This is just strecthing things too far.

  I haven't watched the movie yet.. but I found what could be a direction mistake..
  
  I guess, Ravi Krishna lives in 7/H adjacent to 7/G where Sonia lives. But in the Offer letter from Hero Honda, it is addressed as Kadhir, 7/P Rainbow colony..
  
  I noticed this when Vijayan touches the Hero Honda logo in the letter.
  
  Did anybody notice this..

  Sorry man, but i saw the movie to, he lives two floors above wher she lives, so it cant be adjacent. the letter in the hero honda cover was correct.

  come on guys, dont be harsh on yuvan okay..actually that johnny's bgm was first played by yuvan using his gilu giluppai..... IR found that as wonderful and used it in his johnny ..so it is actually IR who didnt give credit to yuvan in johnny music.. shame on him

  Guys sorry for going away form the discussion topic, but has anybody heard anything further about YSR getting married? I read an interview in Anandha Vikatan reently where Bhavatharini has said that Yuvan is getting married next year but I have heard from close friends that they are getting married in November this year.

  It is great to hear that Telugu audience also accepted the film and going to be a hit there. Moreover they have also noticed the greatness in BG Score of Yuvan.

  Hi guys. Different people have different opinion about 7GRBC. In the midst of masala film diriectors Selvaragavan has his own world of creation. There may be some +ve or -ve points in his films. But whatever he delivers,there is a creativity in it.(Like there is huge difference between crime novel writer rajeshkumar and booker prize winner arunthathi roy) There is some artistic work in it. It is not a kind of film which has 2melody, 2dappanguthu, 4 fights, comedy-track. We have to prize him definetly. Now tamil cinema field is slowly improving. Like once there were directors like balachandar,barathiraja,balumahendra now directors are comming with creativity. Directors like Bala,Cheran,Selvaragavan are in this list.
