Is only IR arrogant? (If at all he is)

There has been this image of IR being arrogant from his early days. I feel its more of lack of verbal communication from his part, and his peers being musicaly not par with him to communicate to him. What can you expect to a director, asking for Sitar type music for a scene.

Now let see who else is arrogant in TF world.

Rajni, made a sick statement that raja earns money on par with actor like him who work hard in sun. May be a joke but its unwanted. Is this a humble?

Kamal says he is bringing international std to kodambakkam. What is it about?. It may not be a direct statement, but he talks to that effect. The thing is, wasnt mahendran or others making movies of I std? Just because they are made in tamil without any 'inspiration' from hollywood, they are not upto I'std?. I'std comes when we make movies true to ourselves, not when they package india for foreign audience as in film like Kamasutra. Isnt kamal statements like last hope of TF arrogant?.

Rahman ignored IR name purposely in his early interviews when asked MDs whose music he admired. He said he is trying to bring some I'std to tamil music?. I can agree Tamil films are not great, but when music standard went that bad?. Best part was his claim that he used hollywood style of BGM. All his interviews he wants keep an separate identity, than other MDs as if he has got a dozen grammmys. Why cant he talk like a TFM MD?. Arent all these crap?.

SAR says he the melody king, himself!. so humble. Deva says all his copy is coincedence.

  I was going to suggest management :) as a career choice for you because you seem to maintain your 'cool' and can kind of carry conversations without it precipitating into ugly fisticuffs. But it looks like you will be good in the technical area. Probably Product Mgmt is a good area :) What kind of job do you do ?

  he tried to import some new Synthz from US which werent used by any of our MDS at that time. when ARR had a customs problem he said he was a keyboard player working for IR
  so when customs for clearing enqd to IR and IR cooly said he didnt know anybody of that name.
  
  
  Think about the scenario logically. If the customs people questioning about a certain equipment means he didn't pay his duty correctly. May be he didn't have enough money at that time to pay just like other growing musicians. So he should have told them that he is a keyboard player working for IR to get away with it. They would have called IR to make sure whatever he is saying is correct or not. Assume if IR had agreed the claims just that one time, then someone from his troupe will go to singapore and will come back with new instrument. And next time IR definitely will get a call from them again. Do you want IR to do that everytime? So it's better make the people who is responsible for their own acts instead of involving. Does it make sense?

  Good Joke. Do you think IR would try to control bringing new gadgets to India? It's impossible for IR to do that alone. I don't think he will never succeed either. And I don't think he works for Indian Government either.

  Do you expect IR to support one person for his wrong doing? Kind of recommendation and get into trouble? Sadly he is not a politician.
  
  And ARR forgiven his old grudges. Is he a represenative of some god or what and who the hell is he to forgive IR (if that is what you meant).
  
  As soon as IRs strong hold over TFM was broken new low quality MDS came out all over the place... And ARR is one among them.

  Sure, ARR has achieved that too. (Eg Alai Paayudhe, Rhythm and Thenaali)

  what is the reason IR music is not so popular as use to be-Nobody can churn out tunes after tunes for decades now IR is in TFM for around 20odd yrs that itself a big achievement agreed he has given many hits also all we people are saying his music doesnt appeal to the youth and please remember this generation is driven by youth
  all over world music companies target youth thats why u have so many teen bands like N Sync,Brit spears etc for India its ARR and other guys..
  so oldies are left out but they are remembered thoug but thats all
  Why cant some IR fans digest this fact

  How can you conclude to the point where whatever you talk is a fact....Nobody here knows the fact, for your info...You write just what is in your mind and I do the same.
  
  I don't know on what count you say IR's era is over. Friends is still topping...Bharathi did well...IR does many Telegu movies, meanwhile.... Just give some time ...you see IR's family will do 70% of tamil movies in 2001...I bet!!

  I thought you were just a fan of IR.But you have gone one step further by being a well wisher of IR's family.
  
  I can never come to your level.For example,I'm just a fan of ARR.I don't know anything about his family.I just came to know recently G.V.Prakash is his nephew.IMO,G.V.Prakash's voice sucks big time.

  Flifo you will agree with me TFM is not the same anymore there is so much of competition
  and the producers want a safe bet since its a investment and most of them dont meet their capital forget the profit that being the case
  they want a winning combination always
  so they always like to bet on the safest and winning horse that is ARR
  and in this year things may change it may be anybody Harris,Praveen or even YSR
  and remember nowhere i said IR lack talent ,infact he is extraodinaire but
  man is measured by success he may have tuned some great songs but why is he not the IR as he was in 80s simple, times change !!
  so does people taste here the people who determine the success are youngsters every mass media are tuned or tuning to their tastes
  so what do u say for this
  I agree what I am saying alone cant be the fact
  IR arrogant - in this matter I dont know,I had twice the oppurtunity of meeting him both times hes been very kind to me so to me he is nice person.
  coming back to music so what do you think is there or what is lacking or absent that is not exactly clicking with the present youth.
