SPB + PS or SPB + SJ, which combination is better?

  Hi SJpriyan,
  How bad of U to write about P. Suseela comparing her to a singer in the streets.
  Let me tell U that SJ is like that.
  She could never match Suseela in any way so ended up like a chamcha of Illayaraja.
  I can count the no of songs SJ has rendered in pre Illayaraja
  What else can she boast of?
  In fact P.Suseela sang more songs when the MD were ready to admit that the voice rules more than their own compositions, but Illayaraja iwanted his music to
  matter rather than voices.
  So chose S.Janaki in a way which made the music to apeal .So SJ was a success.
  So SJ priyan please dont let Ur feelings go against PS.
  So is your taste and I cannot expect much from an SJpriyan ( always third rated)

  SJPriyan and Raghuvaran, it's true that I said SPB-SJ combo took off better than SPB-PS combo.
  But, that's not to under estimate PS in any way. Please don't mistake! And SJPriyan, you say that PS sings like any other lady on the street: ARE YOU SANE?

  SJPriyan, I remember Vairamuthu once said "If there was one thing that I would love to do before I died, that would be listen to PS song"
  Both SJ and PS are great singers. PS has a better voice and SJ showed better variety.

  Opinion differs. When u can't accept someone's opinion, it is ok. But atleast give respect to that opinion. Instead using filthy language is really bad. Please maintain the diginity. If someone can't do that, that shows about their admirer. Atleast try to maintain their dignity.

  Hey someone compared P.Suseela to a street singer.Well, let me share my experience with ?U. My cousin Padmini a 4 year old kid is always fond of the catchy no's(Rahman & Illayaraja). But to put to sleep ,she always needs the street singers voice( athai madi metha & laali laali from Swati Mutyam).Don tthink we got her addicted to the songs. But it is the truth.,
  A song is one which should make U sing, laugh , cry etc etc......
  I think as a singer , sorry street singer(as U'll put her)only P.Sussela has this magic.
  Who can forgot her in Telugu & tamil Fims?
  If P.Suseela is astreet singer , why are U'll comparing her to S. Janaki who is supposedly calld a legend.
  Kindly stop using these derogatory remarks as they are all blessed by saraswathi kataksham and who can ever judge what is right?
  SPB once in "Paadutha theeyaga" said about P. Suseela " If we do Then abhisekham for Lord shiva for some thousands of years that we are blessed with a good voice.
  So hold ur words before U put them in writing....
  By the way I finish my sermon with the quote of the thirukkural which says.....
  An injury inflicted by swords is healed but an injury inflicted by words is never forgotten and healed.
  It is a great shame for the country which gave P.Suseela the best playback singer award when it was first introduced.

  SJ is NO street singer. Thats an ignoble term to use against a legend. SPB has praised PS, true - he has also praised SJ very much. SJ is extremely versatile and has done justice to many songs of many different types. She was highly under-utilised in early TFM (what a waste of talent - but hey she made up for it in other languages, u see), until the tables turned when IR came!!! Like PS is VERY VERY VERY GREAT, so is SJ.

  avar, I don't think srividya referred SJ as Street Singer. Someone else referred PS as Street Singer. I think she just mentioned that in her posting. I hope PS fans won't do such mistakes.

  Face it, PS sounded old in songs after 72-73. Playback singing is much more than singing in sruthi, laya. In a lot of light duets (of the type of 'kAthal viLayAda','yArumillai ingE'), she was singing full throated, very much like the kid next door singing 'rArA vENu gOpa...aala....'. So much is being said about a Bhajan singer like VJ in this forum. She was best for that....Bhajans. But she was good at fusion music, bringing Bhakthi into love songs.

  Your postings shows the "anger, frustration, jealous, irritation and immaturity". What a life you are living!!!. The kind of songs you are hearing will bring you only these kind of results. Atleast try to die peacefully.

  This topic is not about PS & SJ, please refer to the topic heading b4 making such comments, who ever called PS or SJ a street singer, I pity for their incompetence thinking, such idiots should not post in these forum.
  
  I think SPB+PS, SPB+SJ, SPB+VJ & SPB+KSC are all excellent, because SPB is the greatest singer in India 2day, so who ever sings along him, does not matter, as long as SPB is singing.
  
  By the Way, SPB has praised both PS, & SJ, but he insists that Janki amma is his favourite, just like late M.rafi claimed that SPB is his favourite.

  Hi avr,
  I never used all these terms like street singers and all that stuff, but I was referring to the one made about PS by some other guy.
  I think G. Raghavan's opinion is true. Either U start writing about ur favorites or blast the others.It is like defending one's ego either zero or infinity.
  But yet I would say PS is the greatest.
