  From the poster I vaguely understand the some of the Implied Rules to Listen to Baba songs:
  
  1. Have high speed internet connexon with Hi-Fi Boom box or Have hi-fi sony Bass-sorround stereo system with theaterical effect. If you don't have one then don't worry take our words for granted.
  
  2. If you're listening at home, ask family members not to make even pin-drop noise. For ex (a) Kids stay away (b) Cook some other time (c) Ask elders to have a shallow breathing.
  
  3. Push in to your brain like how you read for the +2 public exam. Coz it's RK's movie and ARR's music.
  
  4. Have a music dictionary to analyse the compositions (You may not understand on the first-hand, but you should eventually agree to it)
  
  5. To get a first feeling, listen at least 10 times. You won't get the true taste and so hear more and more and more. Try to take it to your blood. Don't listen to any other songs as that may distract you away from music meditation.
  So listen 7 times a day thereafter and listen for one month to get somewhat OK feeling.
  
  6. After hearing, talk to your friends and greet them "Jai Baba..Jai Baba".
  
  By doing all these things, you still have only limited possibility of liking it. If you still don't, then just verify whether you are within the rules. If you are, then start from 1st rule again. You will like it (or) You have to like it (or) You must like it.

  Songs are very disapppointing. Even Tamil beat has even just 3 stars. I would give 2 stars. IR fans will have a field day with Baba songs. Certainly it is blemish in illustrious Rajini's career. He should stop acting in movie with political overtone. He is not going to enter into politics. What is he trying to prove? Lyrics were written targeted towards his ambition in politics. Nothing is related to movie. Johnny, Engeyo Ketta Kural, Mullum Malarum, Arilirndu Arubadu varai, Bhuvana Oru Kelvikkuri, Nallavanukku Nallavan, Kai Kodukkum Kai were all classics. He needs to do character roles instead of 'larger than life' roles. It certainly not suits him anymore. Kamal is at the other extreme.
  Music, Movie standard, acting everything is at the lowest level these days.

  By the way other day 6 of my colleagues 4 of them girls. We went for a long drive. When i played Baba music they immediately asked me to stop. They didn't even know it was from BABA. They didn't even know it was scored by ARR. I have seen people liking songs instantly. First time i saw people disliking songs instantly!!! I won't listen to it anymore just like Kannathil Muthamittal.

  I think Rajini is now beyond a particular level as an actor, where his fans expect him to have political songs, dialogues, and scenes in his films. I think this is because the public is trying to create another MGR out of Rajini which sadly, is not going to happen. Not because Rajini is not capable of being one, but because he is just not going to do it come what may.
  
  But one think he can avoid is to Poochaandi kaatify or do a Puli varuthu act !!! This supports your statement that he should not try to prove anything. He already has mass following, good business skills and a good heart. However, he has to be firm in his communication to the public (including me), who are so crazy to see him enter the political arena and he should not dither from one speech to another as is evident in some of the links I have posted earlier.
  
  He is not to blame for not entering politics because of the following reason. People are sick of the two main parties in TamilNadu that alternate the CHAIR and want to see a change for the better if not for the best. Therefore, public expectations cannot be blamed either.
  
  Rajini doing character roles would have been possible, if he hadnt mixed politics in his movies. Now, he cannot go back to those old character roles oriented movies, as the people are expecting politics to have a place in his every movie.

  It seems Rajini's ambition is to retire after giving a big hit, since people will remember his last movie only. He wanted to retire after muttu but due to friends compulsion he did arunachalam. Since that movie didnt go well, he did padayappa,
  
  After that he wanted to retire, but when he met his Guru in California, it is after his suggestion, Rajini is continuing acting in movies. Rajini clearly tells he has no interest in politics, also Baba doesnt have political dialogs...
  
  Then when asked when would be his official retirement, Rajini replies, if Rajini has to continue to act in movies he requests people to make BABA a hit.

  IK, politics is not exactly what people want from RK. All that I look for as a fan is an action packed movie with a people saviour role. Batcha is one of the best RK movies I've seen. Batcha did not have politics. A kind of movie like batcha will still give him a big hit.
