Rahman_Asian Mozart? Misfit Comparison

Ok..Guys...I feel like committing suicide when I hear Rahman being branded Eastern or Asian Mozart. Why all this hype and why all of a sudden this worthless comparison?

  All the songs you have mentioned there are all blockbuster hits. Every body knows these songs well including yourself. Can you list IR's 10 best songs for the last 10 years.   I know you will copy the above. Following you cannot copy mahane.. 50 songs in 10 years... i guess in tamil field only someone as dumb as ARR can score that slowly.. He takes 1 week for a song.. can you believe it.. Is there any movie of ARR ran for 200 days.. well No is the clear answer.. Bharathi Raja, Balachander, Maniratnam all lost heavily after ARR's entry.. All the movies became flop. Compare his Nayagan, Mouna Raagam, Anjali, Idhayathai Thirudathe with his post 1992 movies.. All ran very badly.. Balachander had terrible time. Bharathi Raja could have very well got better folks music from Deva than ARR who has no knowledge about Folk music.. He neither knows carnatic nor western classic.. He neither knows folk songs nor knows melodies.. All he knows is cut and paste from MTV songs techniques.. Idhukku oru maatamana oru kumbal fans clubungar perla suthudu..

  Let me explain to you in simple english....until Roja, MR was practically unknown outside Tamils. After Roja his popularity soared the world all over.
  
  Balachander is a much bigger perosn than your tiny tot IR. BTW, don't get excited by Sindhu Bhairavi. Everyone knows how much MSV contributed to those songs.
  
  50 memorable movies is a zillion times better than 800 movies the majority of which no one outside this forum can remember.
  Each ARR song is a marvel.
  Vast majority of IR songs are rubbish, fit for morons like you.

ARR has barely bought ticket from chennai to himachal pradesh. IR is at the top of everest.. so don't keep banging your head in wall "Nijam"...

  Today i bought Golden collections of ManiRatnam DVD.
  All are excellent songs..
  Total songs 21
  Illayaraja 17
  ARR 4 ( 2 from Roja 2 from Iruvar)
  
  I can see faces of some people getting redder... but the fact is maniratnam got best music from IR... when someone compiles DVD they won't foolishly include ARR songs...
