ARR"S DESAM (SWADES) AUDIO RELEASED

Dear Guys
ARR Much Awaited Swades tamil version Desam released all over tamil nadu..Today moring the audio release function take place at Satyam Theatre..Vaali release teh fist CD and our Mastero Arr Get the first copy.

  Hi guys...watched the movie swades..here are my two cents....
  
  1. The movie will defintely appeal to all NRI'S and NRI'S only.... becos to some extent they can identify the longing confessed by the SRK character....
  
  2. People in india will find it touch becos ..they have seen it all..and there is nuthing to root for in the movie... basically there is no element for srk to fight with ....
  
  3. The pace of the movie reeminded me of 'Autograph' very calm and unassuming.. but these things are very risky .... should be able to reach the masses...swades will flater badly on this front...
  
  3. This movie is a techincal mess .... the camera and editing ..the lifeline of the movie...are total disasters.... could hlep yawning in the second half...i dont know what were they thinking when they saw the rushes....
  
  4. Music ---- as usual Rahman comes up with trumps...
  positives ---
  1 the music was a relief....
  2 the bhajan fitted really well in the movie....
  3 yeh tara --- good
  4 yun hi ----- ravishing....
  5 the score when srk leaves india and when they try to produce electricity ..sounded fabulous...
  
  negatives
  1.Sometimes sound too synthesised for a movie based on a village.
  2. The baba song was a disaster ...niether fitted the movie ..nor the audience wanted to hear it...
  3. Overall background score --- ARR once again falters bad....
  A movie like swades will never succeed if it fails to connect emotionally, to connect...we need a mucial piece which would haunt us even after we left the theatre... swades boasts of no such musical piece...that when i think of swades an year from now... i wouldnt be talking of any musical piece..rather than songs... if only he could improve.. !!
  
  BEST -- Yeh to desh hai tera -- The song personified the whole theme..was the best fit...
  
  Overall SRk was amazing....i think his best performance this year...
  I wouldnt call it ARR best performance ever.... i still hold Dil se as his best ....
  the moive could have been better..... no scope at the box office....but with SRK --who knows!!

  Swades is a Big Letdown. Songs really hinder this movie's pace. Here is a review pretty much sums up ARR score only good to listen not goes well with the movie.
  
  "A.R. Rahman's music may sound soothing when you hear it, but when viewed with the story, most of the songs are of the 'fast forward' variety."

  y r u trying to forget the African style of music as the BGM when SRK enters the village and the harmonium piece.......u seem to be again a prejudiced IR-fan......y cant u see that BGM also means silence at some places....i have seen n number of times IR spoiling that silence with his "athi-medhavi" music.......where were u when IR did those things....can u pls review IR on that......

  You definitely need to see a psychiatrist .. you see venom in every word spit out here... First you need to get IR out of your system. Then you can think constructively.
  
  I have prejudice towards none. Just talk about the movie in question, you dont have to drag other music directors, since we are not comparing two diff scores for the same movie. You might argue the harmonium and the drum beats , you seem to be off the point i mentioned. A movie like swades needed an emotional score, the kind which will agree with ur longing for india. I am sorry I never found them in the movie. If you only needed a good african beats from ARR, then your expectation of ARR is only that much . Good for you and i am happy for you.

  TOI claims swades to be the best movie of the year(Hindi).....feel really proud of ARR who continues to work in projects which carries a gud message in Hindi.....in tamil, he has to work in movies like Boys and new....that's unfortunate really.....he has to cut down on this, i hope sincerely......chalega yaar, even if the movie flops, u'll have the name that u flopped with right intention......
