  let me congratulate for the best work done by you.Why don't you include " Kothajeevithalu"(telugu).Songs like "pongiporale Andhalenno " are memorable.

  Hi guys,
  I have some more songs left in my site.I am trying to retrieve those songs back from Xoom.com.
  Once Raj told me that using IE5 we can download the songs.I tried his approach but i couldn't find the song (.rm) file in my cache.
  Hope he seees this forum and responds or whoever knows about this can enlighten me.
  I appreciate your response.

  Check the file by doing the file search......the file would have been renamed automatically.....so check that out carefully!! For example song rex.rm as rex[1].rm .

  Thanks for the information.After a long time we are meeting again I guess.
  As you the file was renamed as say rex(1).ram not as .rm.
  I got confused.I don't whether is it playing from my HD or from the internet.I opened the file using real player G2 file open option also by locating the file directly in my HD.
  When i looked into the properties of this file--it said real player file and the concerning bytes.So am I having my .rm file then under the name of .ram extension?

  Hi Friends...
  The most awaited(atleast me) Kannada songs of Ilaiyaraaja has been uploaded. Except for the last one... I would award every song 400% rating!!!!
  I will be providing downloading options for these songs so that you can download and listen to them even when you are not connected to the net. I guarantee that you will listen to it again and again..
  My sincere thanks to Mr.Chandil Kumar for providing me the audio cassettes for recording/encoding these gems.

  A little related info... The hero of the film "Geeta", Mr.Shankar Nag(He also directed the TV series - Malgudi Days).. became a hard core fan of Ilaiyaraaja after this film. There was no interview of his without him showering praises on IR. It is even said that he waited for more than a year for IR to score for his first film as director, "Accident". The film had no songs and BGM played a big role. He wanted none other than Ilaiyaraaja for the film.

  UPLOADS UPDATE - 300th Song Special Upload!!
  
  After a long time, due to persistent queries from fans, I am getting started with my Songs Upload . But as promised long before, I will be uploading at least 5 great Motherly songs to mark the 300th Upload.
  
  The song that has been uploaded now as 300th addition is from the movie PUDHUPATTI PONNUTHAAYEE . The song is sung by K.J. Yesudoss .
  
  I have encoded this song with awesome quality so please do set your woofers for good rendition.

  Do you remember the BGM that comes during the titles in Gopura Vasalile (Train scene) ? I saw this movie in the theater when it was released (one of the few times I've gone to a theater to see a movie :-)) I still remember the BGM changes from a fast pace to slow piano arpeggios when IR's name appears - there was a lot of applause in the theater on seeing IR's name. I believe IR used this trick quite often - introducing a significant change in the music when his name appears in the titles. Would it be possible for you to get hold of this and put it up in your site ?

  Why don't you guys organize a common site ? I remember reading in the DF that Nithin and Sathyavageeswaran (I think) have reserved the address www.ilayaraaja.com (or its variance). Perhaps you could use it as a common starting point for all your sites. You could base it on different themes and change them on a regular basis so that the interest remains. You could also start quizzes, trivia, competitions etc. You can ask visitors to submit their own articles on IR and his music. If it gets good enough, you could probably ask IR himself to contribute to it once in a while. Taking it further (hey ! my imagination costs me nothing ;-)) you could get permission from IR to officially preview his upcoming albums - maybe even get him to compose a short theme for his own site. To make it even more attractive to the general audience you could rope in people like Sashi, Srikanth and Sriram Lakshmanan to analyze IR's music more critically. In short, go for an official web-site for IR.
