Kalai, Subbu, Saravanan:
In pEsum dheivam the song 'idhaya oonjal aadavaa' comes when Sivaji and Padmini go to Ooty for their honeymoon. I don't know what happened to KSG, KVM and Co, but, when the song is about to finish, suddenly it turns into a bizarre dappaanguththu finish (goes on for nearly 2 minutes) where Sivaji and Padmini start dancing to a kuRavan-kuRaththi kind of dance with chorus dancers all around doing the same thing. This part actually spoils the song totally! It is quite possible that P Leela sang this part of the song. I believe (luckily) only the proper 'idhaya oonjal aadavaa' part is there in the audio version that we usually hear.

Today (2nd aug 2002), jayachandran was invited in breakfast program in Vijay Tv. He was asked to sing some songs. There was question about favorite singer. He didn't list or didn't escape by saying all singers. He just named PSuseela. He had also sung the songs sung with her. It was nice to hear directly from Jayachandran.

2. There was a song in "Yaamirukka bhayam en", song for Saritha (VJ) and SulakshaNa (PS).. it was a great song and good dance by SulakshNa.. do you remember the song?
One more suggestion... when we list the sons, can we try to list the name of actors / actresses for which the song was sung...?

The singers are as you said, except that it is MVD for Prabhu and not SPB.
Pasamalarey (Neethipathi)- PS for KRV and SPS for Sathyakala
Sumangali poojai(Dharmapathini)- Jeevitha and another actress (I don't know her name-she plays Jeevitha's blind sister)

Pondati Chonna Ketukanum music was scored by Chandrabose. Three female artists for that song are Banupriya, Devisree and Kovai Sarala. The movie is good and the songs are also good.

PS for Kovai sarala...? Hmmmmm surprsing.. am sure that IR would have scored the music for 'Pondaatti sonna...".
Hey guys, there was a film by Ramarayanan film, wherein the MD was S-G. I remember one movie acted by SV Sekar, Suresh, Vanitha and one more heroine. All the songs were sung by PS+SPS with MVD.
Any idea of the movie name?

"Pondatti sonna ketukkanum " MD is Chandrabose .. PS got a beautiful solo in the same movie "Ponne poovamma, ennai paaramma"...
"Koopitta kuralukku "is the starting line of "Yaamirukka bhayam en" song .

Subbu, in that song, PS for Banupriya, VJ for Devisree and SJ for Kovao Sarala, I think. Already I posted in one of the thread about singing for comedy actesses. I dont want to post again the same thing here.

No Raghavan.. I have seen the song recently in TV.. SJ for bhanupriya VJ for devisree and PS for kovai sarala.. PS sings in dabban kuthu style.. but the solo was for bhanupriya, I think ..
In " mangala nagayagi" PS and KJY sing " kangalal naan varainthen".. same song is sung by two females again.. one is PS(for KRV)and the other may be SPS(?). One more song "Vinn Padaithan mann padaithan" is again two female duet of PS and the other singer (SPS?).

Do you remember the film name which I mentioned above, directed by Rama Narayanan (ThenandaaL Films). 2 duets by PS + SPS.
