  ok. jokes aside, becuase of social conditioning, i tend to associate certain images to certain music. for comment's kAdhal pAdhai song, jen pops out immediately. this says nothing (bad) about the creativity that went in to that song nor does it question the originality.

  Nice to hear your voice again. I listened to the piece. Sound is clearer but I still feel the brightness of the sound can be improved. We need to figure out why.

  How are you? Evening Breeze is cool.. You must have travelled to 1950 while composing the Melody part! Am I right? :)

  naveen: only now did i get to listen to your new version of the first movement in a major. the first (only?) theme is simple and catchy. i don't know what you conceived of as the (canonical:-) ) contrast theme. the one you introduce at 2.05 is awesome and the short counterpoint following it is good too. to me the whole piece sounds like an elaboration of a single theme unlike the general structure of the first movement. if what i have written is non-sense, which it probably is, please send me an email :-). (btw, you seem to have take away some of the jarring counterpoints!)

  What I enjoyed in Hard Rock Song of Srikanth?
  - 1st interlude
  - wonderful phrases on Guitar.
  - Beautiful usage of Pitch Blend on Guitar. I can't see any better way of playing this one.
  - Charanams are generally melodious.
  - Second interludes.
  
  What I did not like:
  - Usage of Pitch Blend on Saxophone. Particularly at the end of the 1st interlude and beginning of charanam.
  Guys, I am anyway not a big time listener of Hard Rock stuff and so my opinion might be waived from the style point of view. However this is a very good effort from Srikanth....
  
  I see a good future for Srikanth.
  
  Wish List:
  - More songs like wedding songs have to be produced.

  very melodious song. Vidhya's voice and pronunciation are really good. Orchestration & everything is cool.. keep up the good work.
  
  it appeared like you have ended abruptly. It would be nice if you could end with some good postlude. Or else you can ask the lady singer to hum and slowdown at the end.
  
  'Vangathil Odi varum' water sound is cool...!

  In lyrics, singing, composition, arrangement, mixing, right down to the write-up for it, this is your new gold standard. Bravo, man. This one has been hit out of the park. Vidhya puts to shame any female singer you’ve used till now.

  sriki, the song is damn good, very vibrant and alive. i wonder why there wasn't a good crescendo in the song.. a high pitched crescendo in the end would have made a good difference.
  nitpick: veLLip panimalaiyin meedhulaavuvOmadi is wrong. adi is not a calling sound here. adi mElaik kadal muzhudhum-nnu thaan varaNum.

  At the end ,it abruptly ends as Naveen mentioned.

  sriki, i don't understand.. do you mean to say that bharathi left things abruptly in this song?
  i thought the flow was brilliant in this song. he starts off saying how we should build bridges and ships. then he talks about arts (kalai vaLarppOm etc) and then brings in heavier concepts, like jaadhi iraNdozhiya vErillai. so, it does not have a fractured end. also, this song is unique because he moves from basic needs to financial needs to intellectual needs to societal needs so effortlessly. another reason why bharathi "rulez":)

  srikAnth: a major mistake. vidyA pronunces bhayam kolluvAr as bhayam koLLuvAr. this totally changes the whole meaning of the song. please record the song again. if you need clarifications on pronunciation please do not hesitate to call me. please please please re-record the songs again.
