NANDHA- Surely the best release for Deepavali 2001

Nandha seems like it will be the best release for Deepavali. After the poor movie of Alavandhan, which was the only real main competition for Nandha, it is only fair to say that Nandha will be a smash hit. The story is great, the music is great and the direction will be great.Overall the best movie to release?

  When standard reviews come Nandha willbe rejected as Sethu's plus point was LOVE....
  In domestic market MTV is expected to be another comedy sure to beat Tenali and Ullathai Alli THAA.
  Prabu deva,Vivek, Vadivelu here is better than Karthik,Goundamani,Manivannan combination of UAT
  Gayathri is fresher and sexier than Ramba..
  YSR'S music is better than Sirpi's arabic tunes of UTA
  Also the living legend P.SUSEELA'S five minutes comedy scene is special highlight of the film..
  In three weeks time MTV will be N01 IN DOMESTIC market...
  Nandha will be NO4 OR NO5....SAARIKA

  One of my friends dad is a financer for movies, when e got into touch with theater distributors regarding depali movies this is what he had to say:
  
  Alavandhan had tremendous response on first 3 days then faded.... not at all good buisness ie theaters going thru loss!
  PP & Shajahan Great buisness for the first 3 days, then doing below moderate buisness still not good enough
  Nandha, some like it some hate it, buisness not good.
  MTV never made it.
  
  In one word the above movies are somewhat a flop
  
  Guess which movie has got roaring buisness

  For all the stupid donkey n anti-love movies, read this GREAT review on SHAH JAHAN AT dinamalar.com....This site has come out n praised vijay a lot for his acting skills in many scenes in SHAH JAHAN..besidees that the site has also praised the fighting scenes,n the brilliant songs....overall its a good review from a true VIEWWER who isn't anti-love stories like some brainless ones here!!

I saw the film and I am not into this Vijay worship crap ok.I hated the film.   Nandha becomes the ultimate winner in the Diwali Race. PP failed in all areas. Ala.. running ok in cities. Completely out in B and C. Thavasi running failry in A and going average in B and C. MTV - in all the areas running fairly. Shajahan - miscerable flop from Ilaya Thalapathi. Aandan Adimai - almost removed from the few theatres where it was released. And finally, Nandhaa - the real winner running well in all A,B and C.

  PP is almost removed from most of the theatres.
  That may be the reason for not existing in the list. In Singapore, it just 7 days. In Dubai, it just run for 4 days. In the SALEM and TRICHY unit of distribution, PP was released in 13 theatres. Now it is removed in 9 of them. So no wonder why it is not in the list.
