Rajini's next movie, Baba: Who's MD?

I heard on a brief Sun News last night that Rajini has announced his next movie after 3 years, to be titled "Baba". I missed out the details though.
Does anyone know who the MD is?

  ....Super * money minded, huh , great joke, the only money minded fool is kamal, anyway, IR is a very great MD, agreed, he has given a lot of great songs, but he did not make Rajni a star, Rajni became a super*, because of his acting & style, not because of his film music....
  
  Raghu (@ 212.2.14.241), you dont have to pull Kamal into this. IMO Kamal is a better person than Rajini. I am quite fed up with him, especially after Padaiyappa. The way he sits with the vel in his hand in that movie (as if he is GOD) made me want to puke. He is just another moron thinking he can influence the destiny of our people because he is a good entertainer.
  
  Definitely I agree Rajni became a superstar only because of his acting & style, but IR's songs used to be an indispensable part of his movies - and the quality of the songs... Man! even if Rajini calls and thanks IR every day for the rest of his life he will not have thanked him enough!

  ok u were right there. The insecure HCF had in her a mind a mob of HCIRFs running after her wit axes and the tf-fame aruvaals for termination purposes. :-) (and i can't say the image has been totally wiped out yet).

  Taken out of context. The HCF said that she's been here long enuf to recognise the HCIRFs by their names. That's it.

  Maybe, he jus realised that he did indeed have the power to influence the destiny of others bcos there were morons who were dumb enuf to allow other entertainers to influence their destiny. So maybe he feels he shud put tat 'influence', which is already there, to good use, while other entertainers like him use their influence for not so good uses.

  I really dont know what u understood from my post and I believe it's far from whatever I intended, but that last post was meant for a certain DFer, so there's no way that you wud know what I'm talking about.

  oh c'mon whynot, why don't you tell them plainly my friend, instead of letting these guys imagine vile things? ...ok guys, its pathetic that you people have mistook 'whynot'...In forumhub, there was a major fight between whynot (under a different ID that time, which was a lot better) and another male DFer...the thread was about rajini's proposed new film and whynot said it was "thiruvannamalai" and the other guy said it was "vadivelan"...after weeks of fighting, it was released in the media that the film is 'padayappa'...then both of them never turned up in the thread...this is the story...

  twilight_zone, It's not a pathetic mistake, 999 out of 1000 guys > age 16 would jump to the same conclusion that I did. (the lone guy who wouldn't get it would be Abbas. Remember his "Wow! what a man!" dialog in Padayappa? I almost fell off my chair laughing at that:)

  It's just that I have grown to hate him so much. In each and every movie of his it is the girl that chases him, the SOB doesn't even know what "love" means, and the songs always have to go something like "nee karupaa irunthaalum azhagu..". Good Lord! he is around fifty, balding, and the charm that I used to see in him in his earlier movies (thambikku entha ooru etc.) is missing, and the smile is now replaced by a lecherous smirk, but and you still have 18 year olds singing "nee azhagu" and chasing him. Makes me sick!

  WhyNot please dont call the people morons. I feel sorry for them. It always surprises me that people who can be so cunning, scheming, and even paranoid in their personal lives (the way they interact with their relatives etc.) can be so naive, and so gullible when it comes to selecting their leaders.   tigger, You are the actual brainless,shameless,naive,stupid moron. What if he is bald, age will catch up with everybody. He still retains the charm and screen presence, which is important. Kamal is the actual narcissistic who has dialogues like " his eyes are so powerfull" in every film(eg Alavandan,Pammal). He does not have screen presence, tries to pass off as creative by copying from english movies. Rajini does not need IR as exemplified by Movies like annalmai,Bashaa,Padaiyappa etc. Every when
  IR was at his peak he gave hits like Manithan without him. Today even ramarajan does not need IR.

  Just 5 minutes ago, I was singing this great song from T.E.O movie. Not only in this movie, IRs music has been great until Uzhaippali - "Oru mainakuruvi, oru solai , "Oru naalum unai" songs from yejaman and uzhaipali are evergreen and none of the songs from the 4-5 films of NON-IR music can match these melodies.

  Alas tigger, u have jus described a standard Tamil movie. This happens all the time, irrespective of who the hero is. (like aishwarya rai running after abbas(??!!) and mamooty..u wish!) Plus in Padayappa, he was after Sowndarya, trying to pass her notes, etc. So tat's some consolation, isn't it?

  I've heard worse songs wit worse looking heroes. :-)
  but u have to blame the lyricist, not the hero. Plus unlike kamal, rajini doesn't meddle with every aspect of movie-making, so not everything may be a result of his interference.

  Well, I don't. I know of 3 different families living in Chennai who deliberately voted for a certain former 'entertainer' bcos, they told us, there will be more black money in circulation if she was in power. Did I feel sorry for them? NO.
