Rahman_Asian Mozart? Misfit Comparison

Ok..Guys...I feel like committing suicide when I hear Rahman being branded Eastern or Asian Mozart. Why all this hype and why all of a sudden this worthless comparison?

  A.R.Rahman is a musical genius, while IR is only a good composer. The difference lies within their songs, ok compare "Virumandi" to "kangal kaithu sei", the higher quality songs from kks is undeniably better than virumandi, Kamal couldn't afford ARR , so he went with the next best thing, which is YSR, then realised he knew he would hurt his old friend IR, so finally chose IR, so he gave IR a ring, and asked him to compose the songs,and then IR jumped off his seat and rejoiced! IR loves music, ARR loves music, we love music, lets speak the truth which is ARR is better than IR ( ARR knows it, and IR knows it), IR knew his time in the sun would die.   But majority of IR's music and BGMs would be here for centuries and more.. avarukku-nnu thani style irukku.. which comes out of inborn genuinity.. inspiration.. genuine compositions of musical notes and not playing around with HI-FI stuff..
  
  Just feel proud.. that you are living during the times of IR.

  Listened to Deva's En Aasai Machaan which has 3 superb melodies - Adiyile sedhi solli, Karuppu Nila, Raasi thaan. Beautiful.
  Any single ARR album has 3 melodies like these? Modhala ARR thambi Deva pakkam nerungattum, appuram Mozart pathi yosikkalam :)

  ive noticed all IR fans fail to note that during IR high time there were so few MD's.and of course his songs would be hits cuz wat else was there to listen to?Its kinda like in Sivaji MGR era wat other actors were there?then in Rajini and Kamals time there were like 4-5 others you could name.And now there are many many artists in the industry. I don't see what the point of all this bickering is.IR was good now he his redundant.

  No i don't listen to many if any of IR's old stuff n e more.cuz they don't do much for me with today's talent.the only songs IR excels at IMO are sad songs.other then his sad songs and a few of his melodies im not impressed with his stuff.

  don't impose your subjective preferences on others...I too collected two CD's full of IR songs(total 300+) but till date I have not listned to any one full...Some time I force myself to try those CDs...not that I hate those songs (then Why should I record spending 100+ bugs), but the taste and preference has changed...any time my hand automatically goes to my ARR melody collection of some Hindi collection...again..don't presume out of your arrogance that I don't have musical sence and your musical taste is superior...
  
  As you people completely desist from listening ARR, some people don't listen to IR...
  
  I for that matter if wanted to listen IR's melodies, will switch SCV in the morning..some good stuffs can be heard that time.

  3.Kadukoindain Kandukoindain - Kannamoochi,Kandukiondain2,Yenge Enatha Kavithai
  4.Rathcagan - Kayilmithakum,Chandirinai,Nenje Nenje

  1.One 2 ka 4 - Sona nahi,Khamoshiyan,Hai dilkibazilaga
  
  there r more,just i cant recall ARR's albums allot,they are many many,just dun underestimate ARR ok va??listen to his melodies & just see the magic in them!(If u dun wanna,just close ur gaps!) :P
