...and we have a new contender!!!
Hi vijay/SL! the characters in DF are beginning to take themselves far too seriously. I couldn't hold back when I saw this character insulting a friend - and how much more ridiculous can it get than calling Srikanth, pro-IR and anti-ARR!!! There must be some minimum required IQ to participate in the DF!

There was a time when obnoxious posts were removed by the admins. If any post qualifies for removal, it should be Bharath's post in this thread. bb -- wake up and smell the s*h*i*t :)

to all the prejudiced people out here. who place IR on a pedestal rather than just enjoy his music.
Does IR's experiments include his trying to rip off songs from western classical? If it does then I have a couple of things to say too.

one more of IR experiments - making Rajini sing in Mannan :-)....
making Kamal sing in different pitches - 'Poottu Vaitha Kaadhaaal Thitaaam' is a high pitch one, whereas 'Sundari Neeyum' is a totally different pitch.....
similarly making SJ sing in *child* voice - i remember this song "kannaa nee engaaaee" by SJ..... was there any song before that ?
another case of voice change - SPB singing to suit Surli's voice...... but not sure if IR first tried it or Shankar-Ganesh tried it.....

yaaro,
//"i am smarter than you anyday, thre is no doubt it
... I dont want to prove who i am to idiots like you.
you talk yada yada about arr in all the threads here, what if people asks you have met him atleast once, have you seen him at least once in his recoridng session.
try to talk sense in future., you first posting here shows you are no differnt from many hardcore ir fans here...also you are little more them...like you are also a hardcore idiot. "//
these r srikanths posting made much b4 my posting!
You have carefully responded to only my reply to his posting.
why did not the above posting recv this response from you!
//"I have been posting in TFM for the past 2 years-this takes the cake for being the most self centered, rude, inconsiderate and thoughtless posting.are u a psychology student or something bharath? if so, you need serious self analysis.
p.s:u also need to apologise to srikanth. "//
because he was supporting you this time.
look I dont care the the great holy "srinath" came down from his silencio pedestal and decided to brand me or that srikanth is a composer and ARR fan follower.
to me this "kozhai adi sandai" is because I asked 3 innocous questions? and That really touched some sensitive nerves and if the admin chose to remove all the posting which had abuse then I am sure most of your postings wud disappear and most of mine would remain!
Srikanth,
again your knowledge clouds your judgement. You cannot assume that a non-composer like me cannot offer fresh insight thro questions. like i have said a thousand times b4. keep only the posting for analysis ridicule and dissection not the person who posts it.
If you had just stuck to my postings alone and answered you would have found that all the allegations about the hidden sarcasm in my questions were non-existent.

please stop it guys. srikanth, you have better things to do than get involved in some such stupid k.a.s. bharath: you don't realize this, but have you heard of something called 'piLLapUchchi'? thuLLu thuLLu thuLLunnu thuLLum - for no apparent reason. that's what your behavior has been in the df for sometime now. if there are a few people who find your postings to be a bore/offending/... there could be problems with them; but if everyone finds so, you better take a look at yourself. just a friendly suggestion. (i have noticed many a time that you accuse others of things which you do quite often - i don't care to point them out and probably most others think so.)
srikanth: finally i am moving. if the song is ready can you please mail me. thanks.

arul...you are right..basic reason i posted is following my old ground rule,
Dont insult artists and dont gain "arr milage" using IR or some other composer :) belive me i am out of this...:):):)
Ayya bharath i am sorry if i had hurt you.
that was not my intention.
btw: pallavi than ready, tonight i am recording the rest.

srikanth,
to be honest. I was never trying to involve ARR at all. my principle has always been this
//"Dont insult artists and dont gain "arr milage" using IR or some other composer :) "//
which as u can see is a mirror of ur thoughts.
You have no idea how much I live breath and love IR. That does not mean I dont like ARR. I hold he view that currently he is the best. But in this newtfmpage I have never critisized IR's music. but only his thinking process behind making decisions.
My request to you and aruLacarn is just this. If you go over my posts (which ofcourse will take u a year or so :-) ) you will see that I would not have said anything bad about IR.
I still was curious to know why musically learned people regard IR so highly. My participation in this tfm forum is mainly to understand people's approach to music.
I am sorry if i had gotten myself too involved into tfmDFers logic than tfm.
aruLacaran,
I may sound controversial. I agree . It is because of the involvement of you'all with music (tfm and all else) that my lateral appraoch of music psycology and viewer perception is little bit overboard.
once again my enthusiasm to know more about what u post may have misled you to believe that I was belittling IR.
last time I opened up and spoke something honest .some people gave me feedbak that it sounded sarcastic. Please try and understand that some people are different than others and I am one of the spices that add flavor to this page.
I do need to apologize to srikanth. I have insulted you w/o knowing more about you. I have always regreetted not learning music and I have never ceased to admire people who can sing let alone compose. I feel sad about what happened.
if again someone feels i am sarcastic...oh! wel...

from what I have heard/seen, somebody here has no clue about music - whether it is IR or ARR - why argue with ppl that know enuf to atleast analyze IR and ARR's work :-) although some of them are HCF's and biased :-)

Bharath,
I agree you didn't say anything bad about IR. But I have a feeling you are really not unbiased as you think you are / project yourself to be.
An instance with the topic on IR writing notes...
You had asked if there was any proof. Srikanth said that he had "seen" this. I do not know if there could be a more convincing answer. But you said that it was not explained convincingly enough. He again repeated his old answer without any change - word for word. You then asked who he was and if he had worked with IR!!
If you really wanted to know the answer, you could have found it easily enough...
Check the following link -
http://members.tripod.com/raaja_saga/make.html
It was almost as if you were hoping that the info about IR writing notes was not true :)
I don't know if I am right/wrong about this, but this was just a feeling.
Regards,
Deepak

Enough self-control (moreso, over one's temper) and no ego problems - sure these 2 qualities will make our living more pleasant and lively !!!:-)
Digression (??):
Another IR's experiment: the male chorus in the background while singing Meendum meendum vaa... from Vikram.
End Digression

So suddenly Bharath is villain, interesting :).
I dont understand the outraged-virgin-behaviour from some of the so called 'seasoned' DFers.
I wonder if those who are now induling in calling names - ever read the sh*t they write. Bharath has not written/indulged in anything that none of these guys have:).
There has been mudslinging by everybody and suddenly these self assumed guardians of sanctity have chosen to conveniently brand someone as the only perpetrator.
What hipocracy man, a classic case of selective myopia :).

Deepak,
I took your word and went through the old response this was my initial question. Again this post mortem is not to critisize anyone please be sure of that. I just wanted to know if a.lacaran and deepak were right!
now this was my first posting reg. this issue.
//"yes! I have seen such a posting in this DF before.
where is the evidence for this. Is it "kelvi gnanam " or is there any manifestation of this"//
very soon I got srikanths reply below! and believe me i did take his word on it!
//"i have seen this!!..he does write his scores, he usually writes his backgrounds..pretty quickly.
belive me well tranined western classical musican can calculate the score in their mind, they ofetn tell they hear it in their brain. if possible, check with any musician who has worked for IR. "//
and also notice the next posting of mine had nothing about writing scores. after which I saw srikanths posting below.
//"what about your claim on writing score, "you have safely avoided to accept that you are wrong in your claim. "//
which is what confused me. I think srikanth thought that I claimed IR did(could) not write his scores. Before I could clarify it to srikanth I saw sabesans post.... and u know the rest.
I was taught to ask if I did not know something and believe me that was all I was doing.
the reason why I asked srikanth again was an upshot of all the k.a.s that was going around!
