  Pained why not : You are correct in your posting but I have only heard PArvai Ondru Pothume by Bharani.You cannot say he is the best new thing in TFM.Equally,you cannot take credit from YSR because he is the best in TFM currently.Im not saying this because he is IR's son.I truly appreciate his work as it is a breath of fresh air in TFM.We have to wait and see about Bharani.HJ can't be discussed.

  Please confirm the news abt KM's relase delay!!! I don't think there is any delay in KM's release. All the major magazines have confirmed it's release for pongal.

  ARR is nowhere in Tamil Cine Field. Kannathil Muththamittal will be released soon. Yelelo no body including Paarthiban knows when it will be released. For Boys, even the Pooja is not done, only talks are going on. Rahman Bhai has to do lot of efforts to back to his position. Mega Producers are now prefering for yound music directors like Iman, Harris Jeyaraj and Yuvan. AVM, Kalaipulai Thaanu, GV, Metro Productions(Dr. Murali Manohar), who produced mnovies with ARR now working with Bharathwaj,Yuvan, Iman and HJ respectively. Why they left ARR? The reason is simple. People's taste is now the music should be with good sound quality,excellent impact while hearing in the new music systems,beats,rythemic etc. ARR shakes IR's regim with the above qualities in the music. Now ARR is shaked by the new comers with his same style. In 2001's meha hits, none of the ARR songs is listed.

  Bharatwaj - Paarthaen Rasithaen, Paandavar Bhoomi

  Compared to the above hits, STAR and PP are nothing in front of them. Let us wish ARR to come back at least in KM.

  I am not jumping in joy. But the fact is, ARR is not working with MJ, becuase MJ refused to accept his songs. As everybody knows OOR KURUVI BARUNTHU AAGAATHU.
  
  ARR is trying his best to show his talent to the western world. I welcome his steps and I wish him to be a hit. But before doing this, he has to think himself and improve his qualities. In western classic, he is nothing. IR is the best in it. Let ARR improves himself and try.

  What's the proof that IR is the best in Western classicals. Don't mention Symphony. It is probably the biggest scandle to have hit TFM rasikaas like me. If ARR got rejected because of bad tune or what so ever by MJ (summa oru pechchukku), they IR's symphony got rejected by those critics who knew what a symphony is.
  Robin, come on stop this nonsense. If you are really interested they try to get the facts.
  Ekam sathyam was composed by ARR and played in the presence of MJ in munic. That's it. Later, an idea to include it in MJ's album might have arised and for some reason it did not happen with "Rock my World". But, optimist say that ES will be released as a single some time this year.
  
  IR Fans:
  This posting is just meant to answer Robin. No offence to IR intended actually. I could not get a better example to defend my argument and that's it. You side might too have a reason to explain the delay. I am not comming to that actually.

  This is ridiculous...Please do not write things that come to ur mind and in the some cheap magazine gossips...There is no eveidence to the news that u mentioned. Did ARR say anything in his interviews abt him working with MJ???(I mean a full album). No, NEVER!!! All that he was said was, he is doing a single "Ekam Sathyam". These cheap magazines wanted to write some gossip abt ARR and wrote those things...So there is no truth in ur argument...u better check...

  Michael Jacksons official web site has listed ARR as among the composers MJ has worked with and produced songs with. SO it is a fact that MJ has produced a song with ARR. No question about that.
  
  so many times in the past MJ has made songs with non-american artists and those have not made it to the final album! its quite common. but those do make it in later releases like "blood on the dance floor " etc...
  
  As to artists MJ sampled and Rejected there are many but their names dont get put in websites. since ARR's name is in the website I will assume things went well...
  
  It may be possible that ARR is not upto the standards that the western world is setting..
  
  that maybe because hip-hop and pop are not native indian styles and ARR may be competing with people who have more experience and tradtion than him in that field.
  
  But since less people know what actually happening its better not to write personal theories about it!

  Digression:
  The central plot twist seems to be inspired from the wonderful film "Secrets and Lies" by Mike Leigh.I think if Mani sticks to relationships and emotional possibilities(without cheap sentiments) he has a very good subtle film at hand as opposed to overdependence on sensationalistaion and controversy of LTTE elements.I'm sure Mani know what is best.

  What is to come out of this movie for many here ?
  
  MR failes along with Arr music
  The title song sounds like drum music in title of some movie. arr has recycled some cardboard boxes.
  background music is very poor. lyrics dont have many tamil words, singers from bombay have spoilt the album,both of them are seriously running out of ideas.
  
  very soon we will have new thread about the next MR movie "Kannathil Oru Arai Kuduthal"
  KR/YSR/HJ/IMAM might be considered
