  Deivam Indru song by Krishnaraj (did you forget this song..adhudhaane ar.rahmana musicla oru songkooda copy adikkamalaiya....no chance)--- copied from singam ondru_ arunachalam which was copied from some villuppaatu song....dont remember the name

  Sir....I think Elelo is packed up..only bcos of Rahman.romba surusuruppa over-activea oru song 3 monthsla compose (sorry program) pannaram....rahman....so...parthiban switched over to ivann....and isayaraja

  CHENNAI: The `Baba' beat has been thrumming loud and clear through the Tamil heartland, and will reach a crescendo, come Independence day. Tamil Nadu's wait will be over. `Baba' -- blockbuster, potential money spinner, and billed to be Rajnikant's political launch pad -- will light up the silver screen.
  
  
  Though shooting was quick and secretive, patenting and branding was loud, setting off the hype and hoopla. In fact, a nascent `Baba' cult has unspooled into the market in brand equity -- the `Baba' mantra, `Baba' stunt, `Baba' hunt, `Baba' art, `Baba' mart... All and sundry grabbed the label for their products, including arrack, and the market swayed to `Baba' tunes. Soon enough, the Rajni industry patented the stunts, Babaisms, mannerisms and all.
  
  
  As a jeans-and-sneakers clad Rajni, beedi firmly pursed between lips, strides into the Tamil consciousness with his home production, expectations are high. For the industry has been starved of a robust hit for the last three years.
  
  
  Shrouded in intrigue, very few know its content. Every soul, every hired hand connected with the movie has been sworn to secrecy. Ever since Rajni announced the birth of `Baba' in February, the shadows of mystery have grown long.
  
  
  Three studio labs are working overtime to make prints for `Baba', portions of which are shot in Mysore. The latest count is rumoured to be around 400 prints, with 250 direct Tamil prints, some for Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
  
  
  Most of Rajni's fans are DMK and MDMK cadres, who have already organised a security system to control crowds at cinema halls in Tamil Nadu.
  
  
  The film begins with Rajni representing the lower economic strata. He and his colleagues make money through hard work and sincerity, but the hero renounces the world and retires to the Himalayas. His unhappy colleagues plead with him to return...
  
  
  Others from the star galaxy include Manisha Koirala, Ashish Vidyarthi and A.R. Rehman, besides a Japanese actress.
  
  
  That's it? None is willing to spill the beans. `Baba' seems to be the best-kept secret in Indian filmdom. Of course, there is the subtle bait-leak: `Baba' has a strong political message in the end -- it is Rajni's political springboard!
  
  
  Politics and Rajni have come a long way and all his blockbusters in the last decade were laced with political drama. But after `Padayappa' in 1999, there was a significant lull.
  
  
  Fans were worried: Had their 52-year-old guru taken sanyas? What happened to his impact in the 1996 elections? When will he lead the state? This worry was reflected by political analyst and commentator Cho S. Ramasamy at a `Tughlak' function in January, when he suggested that Rajni could lead a front. Rajni, who was present, kept mum. A month later, he announced `Baba', to be produced under the `Lotus International' banner.
  
  
  Rajnikanth scripted the Rs 5-crore `Baba', for which he did not want remuneration. But industry is betting it will fetch over Rs 50 crore, most of which will go to the Ashram school run by wife Latha Rajnikanth, who is also monitoring marketing through ARM Associates.
  
  
  Daughter Aishwarya is assistant director, and helps out with art designing. All in all, a family film.
  
  
  A neat line-up of corporate houses has teamed up with Lotus International, opening the marketing channel for local advertisers. ARM Associates is working on the promotionals -- tie-ups, in-film advertising, cross promotions and merchandising. The company is expected to pick up Rs 5 crore here.
  
  
  It has already made Rs 30 crore distributing rights in India and around Rs 6 crore for overseas rights. Audio and video rights have yielded around Rs 4 crore. Apart from Sun TV, Star India's Vijay has also sought satellite rights.

  There is no end to this Spiritual nonsense that Rajini Kanth (RK) claims to preach - the Sify article (for which the link is given above) amply illustrates the depths to which RK would stoop to for his commercial success
  
  Belief / faith in God/spirituality is a personal aspect- how can our people tolerate such trash that film stars churn out - noone can understand
  
  Chain smoking + heavy booze + womanising = Super * RK - with all this, this man talks about spirituality and stuff - Kali kaalam yenbadhu idhu dhaan
