Who is the most Melodious MD? MSV Vs KVM Vs IR Vs ARR? Who is the most Melodious MD? MSV Vs KVM Vs IR Vs ARR?

I feel MSV is most melodious MD, followed by KVM, followed by IR.

Hey, hold on man.

I never underrated ARR, he is very talented, he is one of my Favourite, but when it comes to melody ARR is not as good as IR, MSV, KVM.

Do you know ARR's tactics of using Carnatic singers, well let me tell u, do u remember the song "Kannodu kaanpathellum", by Nithya sri, well ARR asked her to sing the song, in any raagam which pleases her, she sung it in one of the raagam, ARR recorded that song without any background music, took it 2 his lab, then used his PC to add the beats to the song (which he is the only master @), so basically he did not compose the song, instead Nithya Sri did!

Take another example, take "Mettu podhu", by the one & only SPB, ARR publicly said that the swaram bits @ the end of the song, was not composed by him, instead it was composed by SPB!

FYI, I am singer my self, so please do not tell me about my music sense.

Then you say that he is not good in melody

Hi,

K V M - He is carnatic based. He is melodios, but only people knew good knowledge of music can appreicate him. His music is too far away from normal man's music.

M S V - He perfectly fits for the name mellisai mannar. No doubts. He is a great genious in all respects including melody.

I R - No doubts. He is King of all sort of music. I can even say, he is MUSIC. Compared to the above two musical legends, IR has used all sort of instruments and he is best in mixing Western and Classical. His melodis are heart-touching one. Only IR can give such a mind-mixing songs. HE IS MUSIC. ( ISAI ALIAS RASAIYYA).

A R R - I don't know why his name is there in this list. I can enjioy SENTHAMIL THAEN MOZHIYAL and NALAMTHAANA and MALARNTHUM MALARATHA, even after 30 to 40 years. But CHIKKU PUKKU RAIYILU, OORVASAI are almost forgotten by the people. He is talented guy. To compare with the above mentioned musical geniouses, he is nothing as of now. We have to wait for sometime to see his achievements. But he cannot withstand like what others did. He is almost out in Tamil Movies. Continous flops, down-fall in cassete sales, a lot of talented new comers- made his life miscreable in Tamil Cine fied. He has to make another re-entry with good amount of ALBUMS from London to make his punch again. Please remove his name in the comparison.

So this thing cannot be decided objectively. For example, for a wolf, even its howl is the most melodious and for a crow its cackles (that sound harsh to our ears) are the ultimate in melody :-)

Rather than comparing 4 MDs like this, start a new thread:

Out of the following 4 which is the best:
(1)SPB + IR
(2)SPB + ARR
(3)SPB + KVM
(4)SPB + MSV

When u arrive at the answer compare that one with SPB + SPB (SPB was an MD in his own right, isn't it?? :-)))) )
